Now we're down to the final 9. You have already managed to outlast half of the season's cast!

Explain the dynamics of this merge tribe. Where does everyone stand? Where do you sit in the pecking order?

Give me a rating of your own chances at winning this game. Also for the rest of the remaining players.

Gotta say it feels good to make the top half.

Right now, Gabe and I are in the middle. We've currently flopped between the two major groups and I think for at least one more vote we're going to stick with the 6. We've got the numbers to split 3-3-3 and as far as I can tell, no real reason to screw it up. This is our best chance to get rid of Sarah/Lindsey once and for all.

Right now there are several pairs:

Sean/Vee
Gabe/Pat
Lex/Linda

And then there's the threesome of Sarah/Gina/Lindsey.

Gina's the only one who's made pledges to want to work more with me specifically so I want that bridge to be kept open. With all this in mind, I'm definitely considering voting Vee out this coming round as well. We can't allow NuTamanaco to have numbers

It's a really really tough swing position at the moment. This is really the turning point of the game. We just need to maintain the delicate balance of not pissing people off enough to get them to turn against Gabe and I.

Alright I've given it a lot of thought, and I need to flip again.

Right now, the 6 alliance of Sean/Vee/Gabe/Pat/Linda/Lex are talking split vote.

The 3 of Gina/Lindsey/Sarah are just wanting some sort of people to work with them. As long as they still think Gabe and I could flip back then they shouldn't try bothering to break up the Sean 4 (Linda/Lex/Sean/Vee)

Right now, the plan for the 6 alliance is girls vote Sarah, boys vote Lindsey. Causing a 3-3-3 tie.

I'm planning to vote for Vecepia with Gina/Sarah/Lindsey and take her out. Hopefully Gabe comes in on this and it's 5-2-2, but even if not it'll be 4-3-2 and Vecepia should go home.

Basically, the reason I need to flip is because F9 is the odd number to take out the solid group of 4, namely the Sean 4. If I wait another round, I could still potentially make the end, and it'd be safer and guarantee me F6, but it's also leaving my game in another person's hands and I just can't do that. Also given the disarray of the game, I think that I can be a little bit brutal and still have a chance to win.

From here on in, I need to juggle betraying people, but also not acting like i'm doing it just to betray people. They need to see why I did it, and at the same time dislike me somewhat but also be willing to work with me. The only way this backfires is if the opposing sides join forces specifically to eliminate me, and that's where Gabe comes in. If I'm flipping with someone, that makes me less of an enemy. Gabe is my key to flipping and flipping again with minimal backlash.

However, Gina is also an option to flip if Gabe gives it up and that's something I'm liking. I really need to repair my relationship with Gina and so this round I'm essentially giving her my vote.

If Vecepia really does go I'll be ecstatic. And after Vee, then it's either Sean or Linda. Then at 7, Me and one of Gabe/Gina flip back to Lex and Sean/Linda (whoever's left) and go to F4. Ideally, I'm at an F5 with Gabe/Gina/Linda/Lex. Then we get rid of Linda, then Gabe/Lex and I take out Gina as the biggest threat. Boom, F5 and Gabe will 100% take me.

This is the first time I've felt a solid plan to get to the end rather than wait-and-see tactics and I'm really putting my all into making it happen. Even if this whole thing blows up in my face... Can't say I didn't play hard

So are all the plans still the same?

Plan is still to flip, and as luck would have it Gabe is on board! So we're going to side with Lindsey/Sarah/Gina this round and take out Vecepia.

I'm loving that apart from Sarah, these boots are still going according to my plan :P

Plus we're getting rid of all the weaker players. Once Vee's gone, Sarah's the only dud. Linda/Lex are borderline but they talk and are funny characters and clearly aren't strategically dumb. The main thing is that there won't be any apparent 'goats'

I've suggested this new plan to Gabe since he's now more on board than I thought and I don't have to tread carefully around him and I think it'll work.

So, Vecepia's going this round. That leaves

Sean/Linda/Lex
Lindsey/Sarah/Gina
Gabe/Pat

At F8, Gabe and I will convince Gina to flip with us to Sean/Linda/Lex to take out Sarah/Lindsey once and for all. She'll have to because with Gabe and I already flipping back, it'll be 5/3 against her again and she'll want in on it. Plus now, bringing her along guarantees us 3 votes within this new group of 6. So once Lindsey/Sarah go after Vee our 3 votes can force a tie and ideally, convince Sean to vote out Linda with us.

F5:
Lex, Sean, Gabe, Pat, Gina.

I'm at F5 with 3 people who have no choice but to go to F3 with me and Gabe. Gina's got the deal with her and we've proven we're going to do it. Sean promised me F3. and Lex would have NO choice but to go with Gabe and I if we offered it.


which of course I want to, because that way we can be like "Dude. Gina and Sean are the two biggest threats out here. Sean's got all of Vee's vote and is probably one of the best talkers and has a great story with the idols. Gina's got the votes of that entire opposition alliance. Kimp, Lindsey, Sarah, and in all likelihood a good shot at Clarence/KimJ's as well. Us 3 need to stick together because even though you have Linda's vote guaranteed, that's still better for us than going with either of the other two people."

I've told Gabe this entire plan and even though he still wants to take Gina to the end, which tbh is still an option since I can 100% out-argue her since she had significantly less game than me, he's completely on board. I don't mind losing to Gabe because if I do, it means I didn't do my job as well as I thought. But I definitely want to make F3 and I think this plan will get me there.

You've played a lot of games... Do you really think that will work?

Absolutely. Especially because it's not just me. It's me AND Gabe. It's a lot harder to hold a grudge against two people you could conceivably flip than it is against one.
