I don't think any of us should be scared to be leader. I doubt anyone here will bear a grudge towards the person who does end up to be said leader. I do fully support Kim as leader, not because I am avoiding the position, but because she had the courage to step up first. :)

If you look in Members, the other tribe seems to be made up of Marquesas contestants. Just saying but, Marquesas is a beach resort compared to Africa.

It's hard because the challenge is only truly effective the first time you play it or else you'll figure out a work-around for it. And recent casts have had too many aussie stranded players who have all played that challenge because AS stole the stranded staple. Prior to Costa Rica, it was in just about every season of Stranded barring all-star editions (or it was modified for those), now it makes its comeback!

Is anyone else super excited about Kim P and Diane being on the same tribe? I don't think they'll be explosive, but it will be an interesting dynamic. Wouldn't it be ironic if they became best friends.

Haha, Diane, your job title and obvious faith was probably one of the more interesting applications we've ever received and was an instant approval, I was so excited about it. It's extremely common to get apps in which people hate religious types but it's very rare to get ones in which there are very religious people so I was dying to see that dynamic play out.

As someone who went to catholic school and have known many theology masters i knew that you would be a lot more open minded than people thought and I was dying to see how that interaction would play out, UNFORTUNATELY you were almost immediately black listed so we never got to see it play out, but just thought i would share that now

Ugh, I'm so disappointed I was the first boot on my tribe. I agree that it would have been interesting to see that dynamic play out. I think a lot of people are so against Christians they assume we're all closed-minded Bible thumpers.
