You only know half the playbook.

If it's a tie the F3 have cast a vote each as well, so in the case of a 4-4-1 the third placer would essentially become the final Juror and cast the deciding ballot.

Now if it's a 3-3-3 tie, then we'd use all three finalist votes to figure it out.

If that then also happened to be a 1-1-1 tie (as it very nearly played last Season) we have a back-up plan.

But what if it's a 3-3-3 tie, and the F3 each vote for different people, causing a 1-1-1 tie?

Couldn't that incentivize the final 3 to vote for the least deserving, in an effort to capture the victory in a 3-3-3 scenario? I.e. Lindsey thinks Gabe is more deserving tha Linda, but specifically votes Linda because she fears Linda would vote for Gabe, thus giving Gabe the victory if Lindsey votes for who she actually thinks is most deserving?

Not that this would ever happen. But still

I apologize in advance if I'm a little late for the reunion. I'm going to a barbecue.

I don't plan on being there late though

But then they'd have to take the gamble. If it was a 4-4-1 tie then they just specifically made their least favorable choice the winner.

Worth pointing out that they make their vote before they know that it's a tie, or what type of tie. They have the same deadline as the rest of the Jury.

They simply have the same onus on them to vote on whatever criteria they see fit, as is every Juror's right and obligation. If they wanna gamble, they can. Hell, if they wanna random.org it, they can. I'd be a little disappointed after a month of playing, but they're perfectly within their rights to do whatever they want with their vote.

I'll be online at 7:30 Pacific time for the reunion. Possibly sooner.

I'd skip out on the barbecue, but I think I need it. I'm new to the neighborhood, and it's my first invitation here.

See you guys at the reunion!

When I referenced Prisoner's Dilemma in my confessionals the night we voted off Frank I was thinking of the game show "Friend or Foe" which is probably the American version of the show you just linked.
