Final Words

Postby Holly Hoffman » Thu Jul 11, 2013 3:57:50 am

So close but yet so far. Must hurt to look and see you were almost in a position to be at the end. I hope you enjoyed the game and all it had to offer.

Anyways, this is a place to reflect on your time in the game. Any regrets? Things you would change? Would you play again? And who are you rooting for, and what do you expect to happen! Let it all out here! Don't hold back!

R.I.P. Lex

Can't say I was surprised by the vote. It's too bad Sean practically created my death warrant when he got voted out. I stayed true to my alliance and they didn't stay true to me ;/ it's too bad. Definitely enjoyed the game though.

Yes - I don't think I should have stayed with Linda after she broke down because of her/Lindsey's argument, that was a mistake and I got screwed because she didn't stay with me like she said she would. Things I would change... I played too noticeably and got voted off because I was a threat & because everyone liked me and knew if I made it to the end I would probably win (though I still stand by my case that Gina would beat me at FTC). I was kind of hoping to be liked so much that nobody wanted to vote me off but it didn't work, Gabe and I were tight like that but Linda was not.

Yes I would 100% play again.

GABE, I believe he can do it for sure, but he HAS to vote off Gina.

By the way Mia, did I ever mention I was a spelling bee champion and won a $5000 scholarship from winning one back in the days? :P

Also I did not handle the situation after Sean's elimination correctly, but even if I had handled it better I still think I would have gotten voted off today.

So sad how today went LOL but I'm very nostalgic too, can't believe it's over already...

I was most assuredly in a position to be at the end, but like I said in Ponderosa Sean's dying words were the anvil that broke the camel's back and it swung Linda into voting me out.

I guess this means I'm changing my homepage back to google (it was this site ever since I started) :[

One thing I would absolutely change if I played again - try to always be the swing vote, because this way nobody wants to vote you out when they're gunning for each other, and being the swing vote demonstrates your strategic ability by itself because it proves you have done something all game.

Also I would definitely try the "As long as it ain't me" strategy, I think the J.T. strategy doesn't work as well when you can't find 2 people who will stick with you to the end (I only found 1)

My money is on Gabe to win it all now, he's pretty much dead set to win final immunity and his strategy was brilliant, evn though he seemed pretry unaware of stuff when I talked with him I'm sure it's all an act :P besides I gave him some FTC advice right before I boarded the plane in Calgary in case I got vote off.

I think Gina will be voted off next and Gabe will win at FTC, the jurors in general don't really respect either Lindsey or Linda. I predict/expect a great speech & FTC performance by Gabe resulting in his win followed (not closely) by... hmm... I think Lindsey will come in 2nd but will only have a few votes because Linda is getting a lot of hate from Ponderosa and Gabe's overall strategy was simply far superior.

Actually, if the jury is bitter (which they are) the vote will be close between Lindsey and Gabe, but I think Gabe will come out on top. I expect Linda to get no votes or almost no votes

What if Gabe and Gina both end up at FTC?

If Gabe wins the immunity challenge the vote (I would assume) is 2-2 tie betwen Gina and Lindsey or 3-1 for Gina, if it's the former Lindsey would be forced to flip or get eliminated.

I'm absolutely certain had I not had an extremely inconvenient flight the day I got voted off I would be sitting in the F3, nearly 100% sure ;/ because I know I would have won the final immunity challenge.

Pretty sure I would have at least survived lol if I had more time IRL. Dunno about the challenge but I can only say I think I would have completed faster than 42 minutes >___> I can't try now because Jeff revealed the answers publicly.

when irritated*

Also thinking back on this season I seriously am disappointed because I feel like I played on auto-pilot instead of proactive, there were so many decisions I know I could have done to get me farther... now that I'm gone I feel like I seriously played pretty brainlessly. It's going to keep me up at night :( even though I did a lot of things right there was so many things I could have done better...

When does the Fallen Comrades thing need to be done? I'm switching hotels tomorrow and depending on whether there is internet or not I might miss FTC and the reunion <.<. I really hope there is internet access. Definitely have to try and rewrite my jury speech beforehand, I'll also try to make time to do the Fallen Comrades thing before I leave.

Just do it when you can. But please do trim the Jury duty somehow, I normally wouldn't even say this to a Juror but that is waaaay too long. Just try think of what you actually want to ask and focus on that part.

Yeah there's parts I definitely want to edit/remove, make sure I go second last because I will have it done by then assuming my hotel has internet access.

If I don't get on until then just remove the airplane story, and say I want to hear that they kicked my asses and not apologies or how the game might have been an "emotional rollercoaster". But I should be on by then.

Prevote is for Gabe

Ok it's pretty clear I wouldn't have survived F4 had I not won immunity lol. Got my hopes up for nothing. I thought I should let you guys know there is a spelling mistake on your site though, here:

Russell's name is spelled wrong under his avatar.
