How do you feel now that Diane is gone, is the game going to step up a bit? Where do you fall in the pecking order now? What are your options?

Well Big Tom is sitting on the choppin' block. I'm sitting between a 4 man alliance of me, Lex, Clarence and Kim J and a 5 man alliance of me, Kim J, Kim P, Linda and Lindsey. Think of it as two intersecting circles in a 2D plane. If the outsides of both circles connect through a wormhole, the center might explode.

I still have Kim J as my right hand but I get the feeling she won't like to get carried as a goat and will try to backstab me at some point. I'm pretty sure she has the clue to the idol and is not sharing it. I'm not pushing that avenue though, because that would signal her I don't trust her.

Lex and Clarence are probably exploring options by now. My 5 man alliance hopefully thinks we are just promising them false hopes.

Its a well orchestrated balancing act, I just have to keep the plates in the air and deal with the probable swap.

Its weird that you ask this question. That was the first thing I thought of after that council. There are a few possibilities. First of all Tom was asking me about Tribal, so I assume he was asking pretty much everyone.

Option #1: Someone was trying to get in with him by telling him, let's break it down who would benefit from that..

Kim J - I don't see how she would really benefit from that, she's sitting pretty good in the middle of alliances with me.
Kim P - Highly doubt she's talking to Tom. She's not particularly strategic either.
Linda/Lindsey - They have a stable 7 block with options to go with Lex/Clarence or stick with the 5. Why would they need Tom? Trying to blindside someone in the 7, for example me, and replace me with Tom would result in Kim J losing allegiance with them and Clarence/Lex quite possibly too. This would create a probable 2 or 3 flips at the merge. Dumb move.
Clarence - He might still have some connection with Tom. #1 candidate for spilling the information.
Lex - He doesn't really like Tom from what i know. Its a maybe.

Option #2: It was obvious, he caught on, he has known for a while that people like Clarence, Kim J and Lindsey aren't really allied with Diane.

Option #3: Someone told him last night out of stupidity. Probably trying to keep tribe unity or some crap, not considering the possibility that Diane could have an idol.

Sent a little deal to Tom. Told him he can help himself by giving me information, dirt, on what people told him and how he knew about Diane vote. His answer will tell me everything I need to know, directly and indirectly.

Kim J told me she's gonna receive a real idol clue soon (she gave Diane a fake one a while ago, that was so funny ), things are looking even better. I gotta find it fast, I smell a twist coming.

Tom avoided giving me the full detail, and just said one of the girls. This of course tells me it is Lindsey, cause she was infiltrated in that wannabe alliance and apparently still keeps contact with Tom. Why didn't she say so, though? Suspicion rising.

Tom is a fool, he basically told me to "hold on" and that he will give me the full info. He had once chance to clear his name, now he is trying to confirm with Lindsey. He even told me this, who taught this guy how to play?

I didn't want Tom to know on the slight chance he told Diane, and on the even slighter chance she stumbled across the idol password. She had the fake clue Kim J gave her so she was probably looking a lot, but in the wrong direction.

Lindsey told Tom. Tom told me it was one of the girls who told him it was either Kim P or Diane going him. The one other girl other than Mama Kim infiltrated in Diane's wannabe alliance was Lindsey. I confronted her about it and she apologized for not telling us. She said she was afraid we'd be mad.
The fact that she said Kim or Diane, from what Tom gave up, means she was actually playing infiltrator at the time when she said it.

Tom made a blunder by not saying Lindsey directly, then tried to recover from it when he realized or Lindsey told him that was a huge blunder. I pressed him for more information in exchange for his safety. A desperate man is a gold mine in this game. He told me Lindsey and Lex are getting along nicely and probably have an alliance. Which i know Lindsey promised Lex final 2, she said that to the alliance of 5.

The position Lindsey has right now is potentially dangerous for me, she could have 5 votes to get whoever she wants out (Big Tom, Lex, Lindsey, Linda and Kim Power). Could being the operative term. I don't really see Lindsey as that much of a strategic mastermind to realize she needs to get me out, like yesterday. I'll tell Big Tom to vote Lindsey and tell Lindsey i'm telling him that just in case he has an idol. But if anything triggers me off, a lot of votes are gonna switch to Lindsey.

I'd prefer not to go to tribal though.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have an idol to find and a very vague clue to work with.

So much for having clue advantage. Thanks to freaking Cleopatra on the other tribe, Lindsey received clues. Her giving our 5 man the clues pretty much means she isn't actually thinking of pulling a blindside on me. So I guess its still in my advantage to know that.
