Episode 01

It's fun but I hate feeling like I'm letting them down and that's very hard. They just lost the challenge because I wanted immunity. I'm going to keep fighting for the immunity but I don't like feeling like they hate me. I can handle it but I do feel bad because I feel like eventually a task will come along that is incredibly hard to complete and this will all be for nothing.

I've decided I'm going to throw a vote to Gina. She doesn't even talk to me and I don't see where she did a good job in the challenge. I don't have to vote in the majority and I'm happy for that. If I was vulnerable I probably would have gone with a safer choice like Sean but I don't have to do anything. I'm not leaving, they can't vote for me, it's all good. By the way I might have forgotten to mention this but Gabriel and I got a side alliance with Pat and John.

So is the reality of being here for the long haul setting in with you? Have you or do you plan on having some fun with that?

Do you feel any connection to MamaKim, knowing she is in a similar situation on Tamanco?

[Sarah]

I definitely feel like I'm going to enjoy my situation and maybe utilize it to maybe shake up the game. I only have one shot at making a good impression on the hosts and I think the first five weeks could be instrumental in setting up an entertaining game. As for Kim, I definitely feel like I understand what's going on in her mind. This twist is all about perception and minimizing any ill will from your tribemates but at the same time the tribes have no idea that it's still their speed that determines who wins. It's a very harrowing position to be in if you're anything like me and want to jump in and defend myself but I know I can't.
