Jeff says... What an unusual final 3 we have. Of the three I think Lindsey's journey was the most solid. Although she started off as a member of the five person alliance on Tamanaco, once the swap happened she quickly distanced herself and started playing for herself. The one thing that consistently happened to Lindsey was that she kept getting screwed over by her friends that she trusted in the game. That didn't deter her for making alliances though. She was attached at the hip with Kim P in the beginning and Kim P eventually defected during the swap. She made friendships with Sarah who then flipped to Sean and tried to get her voted out. She was close with Gina who at the final 4 was convinced that she would be safe and that Lindsey would be voted off. You have to admire that though, she stuck with her friends and didn't betray them, they betrayed her first. She was always speaking her mind often during Tribal Councils calling out Linda and Sarah for betraying her friendship. She made it to the end and in my eyes had a great story and would make an awesome winner.
Brenda says... How did people not see this coming? She even spoilered it for you about eight rounds ago.
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=242&start=100#p8324Good job girl! Lindsey has once again proven that social game trumps all others in Suvrivor. You need the Jury to want to vote for you, just as much as you need to get to the end. Either one without the other is not enough. Congrats <3
Mia says... Lindsey! <3 Lindsey was another player that came into this game with a lot of experience playing in these things, so it was definitely interesting to see her go. There was just something about her that made it unsurprising to see her do so well and to see her click with so many people so easily. I'm not sure how apparent it was to the players in the game, but Lindsey seemed to be CONSTANTLY second-guessing herself, always wondering if she was making the right move or doing the right thing. As grating as such uncertainty can be, I think that Lindsey make it work. She played with her gut, and all of her experience really paid off because you can see how well trusting her gut did for her. Was Lindsey the most exciting player? Probably not. Did she make the biggest or craziest moves? No. But she WAS playing for the win, which is a lot easier said than done. She was just threatening enough to not be seen floating on the bottom, but not threatening enough to be looked at as one of the big dogs. For someone that seemed to be so constantly surprised by the outcomes of Tribal Council, she always kept her cool and reacted in the best way she knew how. There's A LOT to be said about grace under pressure, and Lindsey definitely embodies that. So she may not be the craziest character out her, but she's hands down the most deserving winner in my eyes! (Also, congrats on being the SEVENTH female winner in a row!)
Holly says... Congratulations girl! You had one of the most amazing storylines of the entire game, even if you hadn't won. After seemingly thinking you were doomed at two or three tribals in a row to becoming THE underdog and making it to the finals, eventually taking out the title was just amazing. A little bit of luck in the end but you always said you need luck on your side. You played the superior game overall and it showed in the results. You had four votes pretty much on lock while the others fiddle farted around trying to convince themselves of sticking on someone but most ended up changing. Throughout the merge I think most of us hosts were expecting Gina to win but you were definitely the next best thing. You made your moves perfectly and had things been a little different you could have argued for more jury votes. Congratulations again!
