Jeff says... What can't be said of Sean. His game was in-your-face and epic from the swap on. Creating two fake immunity idols and then perpetuating that lie until the final 10? Wow. That certainly has never been done before. We've had plenty of fake idols made and probably some pulled off, but two? That takes some serious balls, and then to actually find a real one on top of that. AND THEN He convinces Kim J to give him Cacique and gets Immunity when he is down 2-4... what?! He was definitely a force to be reckoned with. He had players in his pocket like Vecepia and Sarah. He knew when to make moves and even when his alliance didn't agree with him, his gut was usually right. Trusting Sarah was the best move and he knew that, etc... He was so entertaining to watch and it never stopped. Even when it was so likely he was going home he gets someone to play their idol on him... unfortunately it was outside of the 5 minute window, but he was such a force in this game. He comes a very close second to Sarah for character of the season, I would argue he is the player of the season.
Brenda says... BALLS OF STEEL. That is all.
Mia says... I get to pat myself on the back again here, because Sean was my casting find! Apparently Sean has been playing playing online games on Facebook for several years and has racked up quite a few wins, too! I recommended that Sean apply for this, and I think that it's quite apparent that he didn't disappoint. The two fake idols thing was INSANE and I still can't believe that the whole thing didn't come crashing down on him. Sean played HARD and gave it his all in such an intense way throughout the entire game. Like Jeff said, if not Character of the Season, he is easily Player of the Season. On top of all this, Sean had some of the best one-liners and zings in the game, and as much as I wish I would have had time to compile them all, I just couldn't do it, so I'll let all you players discover them on your own as you read through the boards. Sean really made a great Sean Rector and it was so great to have him in this game!
Holly says... You were an awesome player. I didn't really know what to expect form you but you didn't disappoint. Generally I stuck to Mariche before the merge but I made sure to keep my eyes on you once I caught wind of the idol drama. You made this game what it was with all the switching and the blindsides and craziness. Forget people who claimed they owned this game by controlling votes, if you didn't make those two fake idols, the game is so much more boring so thank you Sean.
Brenda says... No but really. Big players are defined by big moves. Back in Round one I was thinking - solid and potentially could be interesting, will at least provide a few decent soundbites. Then your name started coming up as a boot target and I thought we'd maybe seen the end of you before you even got a run at this, but you got past it. Then you went to NuTamanaco as a minority that was
pretty clearly - for lack of a better word - fucked. The majority was not just pre-allied, but also determined to throw every challenge to keep their away team safe. A lot of players would either just try save their own skin, or just curl up in a ball and cry some lol. But no, you come up with this BIGMOVE to try save not just you, but Vee and General too. And it doesn't work. But you don't just let it go. You bring it back up for the next round improved and more crazy than ever. And wtf it works
You spent the rest of the game navigating this huge threat tag on your back because of it but it was totally worth it. I don't think anyone was ever going to go to the end with you. Yet still you dodged what, four regular votes, two attempted split vote plans, nabbed some individual immunities, and generally put the fear of god into anyone who wanted to try take a run at you. Half the LL was rooting hardcore for you while the other half was screaming at their sets wondering why the fuck no-one was trying to take you and your 27 idols out of the game. Even as you were leaving, you were *this* close to staying. This right here Frank, is a lesson in showboating. Always have a purpose, and you gotta be able to pull it off. You are my favourite type of player.
BALLS TO THE WALL. Go big or go home.
