Jeff says... I'm probably a bit biased since she was my pre-season pick, but she was obviously the character of the season. From day 1 she caused drama with her "going swimming" during the first Immunity Challenge. Sure it was a challenge, but "can't make it, i'm going swimming" ...really?! <3333 She was so entertaining during each instant of the game. I can imagine she would be frustrating as hell playing with, but to watch she was incredible. I think the one time I was truly disappointed in Sarah was when she turned on Lindsey and Gina, her two true friends in the game, but I understand her not wanting to trust Gabriel and Patricia. Franky it was a great move for her because Sean was really going to work with her, while Patricia wanted her gone. By putting blind faith in Patricia, LIndsey and Gina were at her mercy for a while. So for that I respect that move. Sarah was just a goddess and is definitely a legend in Stranded for how hard and recklessly she played.
Brenda says... Should I write less here so Jeff has more space?
If we could have assigned the Cacique roles I don't think I'd have wanted anyone else to have it. Does anyone remember lovable, social, friend of all Mariche that arrived on night 1? The one that charmed her tribemates into believing she'd be the best woman for the job and was everyone's ally? Lol I doubt it, but she was here I swear! Once she got her hands on that auto-immunity she just took to the tasks with gusto and watching her at work, you just couldn't turn away. I don't think she knows yet, but as with Mama Kim, her tribal pick kinda messed her game up. At that point in the game you had Patty/Gina/Gabe looking towards Vee as the next boot, and Sean/Vee/General looking towards Gina. I
personally think for her own game's sake, she sent the wrong trio and kept the wrong trio but who knows? Plus she was immune. I just think she wouldn't have come into merge with that huge target - just a slightly smaller one
Favourite attribute for me was her willingness to just go with her gut, followed closely by her willingness to fight like a cornered animal for immunities or any new angle that would get her a step further. People flip a lot in these games, but usually you see them turning friends into enemies just for a better spot. With Sarah (excepting the Lindsey vote), she was more likely to have been turned on by someone she thought was a friend, and actively turning her enemies into allies. It's a dangerous game to play but she was very successful. I'm not gonna try claim Sarah played strategically exceptionally, but each individual move made sense to me. I'll also point out here that her boot was the
wrong move for so many players at the time. Patty, Sean, even Lex & Gina - they should all have been trying to keep Sarah around at that point, at least for one more round. And well hey, look at the following four boots..
Mia says... Oh man. I'm not sure that there's much else that I can say about Sarah that hasn't been said already. I like to think that I have a special connection with her because we both were deemed "Character of the Season" (pardon me while I brag
) and we were both taken out at the Final 8. But Sarah was seriously just so righteous and it seemed like she ALMOST didn't give a shit, but in reality she did, but she was just playing in true Sarah style. The minute that Sarah got the Cacique role, I knew that she was doomed to lose, but I'm glad she was able to fight for as long as she did, and she definitely made a huge splash (swimming pun alert!) Everyone kind of gave Sarah a lot of shit for her gameplay, and I hope that they now realize how unwarranted a lot of that was, because without her Cacique tasks, Sarah would have been a lot different. As much as everyone said that without being immune, she would have been gone pre-merge, I really don't think that's true. Sarah was key to a lot of players in this game, but most of them didn't realize that. Also, I wanted to bring up something that Brenda pointed out- there's so much irony in the fact that Sarah "Cleopatra" Jones became the swimming queen, when the real Sarah just didn't swim... at all.

Ever since you took on the role as cacique you were a dead set superstar. You embraced the cacique and the tasks that came along with it and you didn't care if people started to hate you because of it. I was rooting you on when there were claims you should give it up. How dumb, you don't give up free immunity. Even after that your underdog run from the merge was amazing because you were probably expected to be the merge boot. Even on the jury you have been amazing and entertaining, putting people in their place and not giving a shit how stupid their arguments against you are. I've used the word enough times already but you really were amazing, I'm sure you will be asked to play again, I know I'm not the only one who wants to see that.
