Of all the first boots in Stranded history, we have had plenty of disappointing ones, but John has to rank up there. I really thought he was going to be a force in the game. Had he lasted longer, I really think we would have seen some great things come from John. I'd love to see him get another go in the future and I was more than shocked to see him go first.

The girls have mentioned it already but I'll re-emphasise, you were the most un-first-bootish first boot I've ever seen. Active, engaged, alliances forming. A power move to take you out like that seemed crazy so early, and it was a power move. Had say, Vee or Gina or Sean or any of the other mentioned names at that point left, I think we would have seen all three of you, Peter & General go a lot deeper in this game than you did. So kudos to Patty, Gina & Gabe for taking the game by the throat so early. And that "Hey guys I'll be leader if no-one else wants it? (lol, I will in my ear)" was a move straight outta my own playbook - I like the way you think

If somebody described John's gameplay to me and I didn't know what had happened in this game, I'd have been floored when they told me that he was the first boot. I definitely have to hand it to the bulk of the Mariche tribe for voting John out, because it was a gutsy move and I think that should speak leaps and bounds about John's abilities. Like I said, for a first boot, John was a real heavy hitter, so whether this was his first game or his tenth, John should definitely keep going, because on the right tribe, he has what it takes to kick some serious butt!

First boots are often left to people who don't show up, but those who are active first boots tend to become cult figures of sorts and you were no exception. Its amazing how highly people of you and to be taken out first as a threat is something to your credit. People talk about the villain within but the one thing I think would have been interesting was if you went forth with the Cacique vote and you had it over Sarah. Although things would have changed significantly and I loved Sarah in the role I think you could have been quite interesting with you in the role. I hope you come back soon.
