Screencapping Etiquette

A note on screencaps versus forwarding PMs, since this topic has been err, "brought up" recently icon_whistling

Imagine we are on Survivor and Mia tells me word for word, just how much she wants to boot that damn skank Mama Hoho! "I want to boot that damn skank Mama Hoho!" she tells me in confidence. Little does Mia know that Mama Hoho and I have a mutual understanding about who the real skank ho is and who needs to leave.

So can I come down from the forest and tell Mama Hoho exactly what Mia said? Yes, absolutely. Could I even maybe embellish the truth or flat-out lie to Mama H about what Mia did or didn't say? Of course I can. But can I whip out my ever-so-handy tape recorder and playback Mia actually telling me as much? lolno.

So with regards to this game and trying to recreate as legitimate a Survivor experience as we can on an online forum - this translates across as; yes, you can forward PMs, and yes, you can even edit them to suit. But no, you cannot take screencaps of areas of the board that other players don't have access to. Be that PMs or your own confessional or wherever. icon_no

We realise this was not in the original rules you all signed, so consider this a late addendum. There will be no punishments for anything that happened up to this point but from here on out, it's a no go.

ty all for reading.

Just to clear this up for the 50th time, Clarence screencapped his vote and sent it to me and like 3 other people when I asked whose side he was on.
