Good work Linda, you're hired! icon_lol Yes, please do some kind of memorial look back over those who have gone before you.

Note that this is not some sort of pre-FTC Jury buttering up. They cannot see this campfire area, and will not read them until after the game. So be genuine and reflect on the experience. Please treat it as such, and not as any kind of gambit to influence the rest of the F4.

If you fear that posting them here in this thread will influence the rest of the Final Four in one way or another, you can also choose to simply start an FCs thread in the privacy of your confessional where no-one but the hosts will see until post-game.

The boot order;

Gabriel
Gina
Linda
Lindsey

Jury
5th - 8th Juror Lex
6th - 7th Juror Sean
7th - 6th Juror Patricia
8th - 5th Juror Sarah
9th - 4th Juror Vecepia
10th - 3rd Juror Kim P
11th - 2nd Juror Clarence
12th - 1st Juror Kim J

Pre-Jurors
13th Frank
14th General
15th Big Tom
16th Diane
17th Peter
18th John

Linda's Fallen Comrades

Postby Linda » Thu Jul 11, 2013 11:03:57 pm

17. Image

I unfortunately knew neither of you and therefore can not really comment on either of you. I hope you two enjoyed your short time in this ame

16. Image

You were funny in how you started playing this game way too damn hard. It was obnoxious getting PMs from you on the 2nd day "WHO ARE YOU VOTING FOR? WHO ARE YOU ALLIED WITH?". Still, when you weren't in one of your crazy moods, you could be fun to talk to

15. Image

To be honest I don't remember much about you. You never fit into any of the alliances on Tamanaco, and the only memorable thin was you bitching about Lindsey telling you to vote for the right person icon_laughing

14. Image

An unfortunate victim of the game of chicken between Sean and Frank. I was busy most of the weekend you were on nuTamanaco, but you seemed like a pretty cool dude!

13. Image

Frank icon_lol . Where do I even begin? We were allies from the beginning, yet you seemed kind of aloof from there. You were definitely a CPN force, trying to take control and have crazy moves, and this really came alive after the nuTamanaco tribe formed where you made Kim J give up Cacique(and then bullying her for "being stupid" in some random attempt to get Sean to give both of his "idols" to you. Unfortunately, Lex and I decided greener pastures awaited with Sean and Vecepia. Entertaining night

12. Image

This was a hard vote off. After being blindsided the previous round, Lex and I felt bad and I really wanted to protect you moving forward, as you were the NICEST person. However, you had to be sacrificed in an attempt to form bonds with other people, which I think succeeded rather well

11. Image

icon_rolleyes . I know you disliked me, even with your faker than faux fur attempts to butter up to me around F11 "oh yeah we'll work so well together ^_^ ^_ ^_ ^_^" icon_sick . Your vote off, though, was the biggest moment of the game for me. It made me start stepping up my own game, and be ready to take whatever actions are necessary to reach the end. So you at least had that impact on me

10. Image

You seem to hate me. I don't know why. We started off rather close in the game, and you were the fun, spunky little presence, even if you didn't talk as much. We ended up on different sides, and you didn't tell me what was happening in the game, thus signalling the end of our alliance. I did nothing wrong in voting you out, as it was the best game move at the time

9. Image

Vecepia :(. Your vote off wasn't a huge shock(knew we should have gone with my plan B :P),but it was very sad. We didn't talk much one on one, but you were a great ally and had a good head on your shoulders

8. Image

Cleopatra herself. Not liked by many people at merge(if even before that), yet still managing to survive as long as you did. You had a great underdog story, and while I would have liked to see you go farther(I enjoyed the conversation we had after Clarence's boot...until you suggested booting the one person who HADNT lied to me at all in the game as the vote icon_rolleyes ), but this vote allowed the next succession of votes to happen successfully

7. Image

Fatty Patty! Definitely the most entertaining person throughout most of this game. You were a lot of fun, both as a humerous character, as well as for chatting about some real awesome topics(sorry I didn't get to respond to your last Game of Thrones message :( ), and you were also, quite honestly, one of the top two players in this game for most of it. You were the biggest threat, so voting you just made the most sense.

6. Image

Sean, you were another great ally most of this game, and you were a fantastic player. You proved that with the mess that happened on nuTamanaco, and we were still able to right the ship even with all the problems in the early merge. However, you were the other of the top 2 players in the game, and therefore I couldn't have you sneaking your way into F3. That and I'm not sure I've forgiven you for the idol fiasco icon_laughing

5. Image

icon_cry icon_cry icon_cry icon_cry icon_cry icon_cry icon_cry icon_cry icon_cry . My best ally this entire game. This elimination hurt me more than any other, and while I know you being gone benefits my game, I still question as to whether or not I should have supported it. You were honest with me from the start, and I hope I was honest enough for you, because you were definitely the nicest person here. Fun to talk to. I hope I get to know you more outside of the game <3

Gina's fallen comrades!

18. Image

If you hadn't been voted out first, you would have won this game. You just came out a little too hard too fast. The insanity of this vote really made me fall in love with this game, so I thank you for that.

17. Image

In true Peter fashion, I will post my memorial to you three times.

You were a blast to have around camp and it's a shame you were so close with John. I loved the energy you brought to the game and I'm disappointed you had to go so soon.

16. Image

Didn't know you!

15. Image

Didn't know you!

14. Image

Still mad you went out pre-merge. Legitimately one of my favorite players in this game, and a force of positivity at Mariche. It's a shame you were a victim of circumstances outside of your control, because I would have loved to have gone deep with you.

13. Image

Oh god, I never interacted with you (except for your wonderful acting performance) but I think you'll go down as a Stranded legend. I seriously wish you had been on my tribe from the start because you seemed so delightfully evil, in a really entertaining way.

12. Image

Kim J, I didn't know you all that well but the conversations we had I genuinely enjoyed. I'm sorry someone so kind got voted out unanimously. I only voted for you because I foolishly thought my original plan to get to the end with the people I originally intended to get to the end with would actually work. Had I know things would fall apart on the next vote, I would have tried to keep you around.

11. Image

I'm still not sure what happened when you were booted, but I've never bitten my nails more at a tribal council. Your PMs were always funny and I loved trying to guess just what the hell you were actually thinking. In the end I think you were your own worst enemy- you had your hands in everyone's pockets and you got caught.

10. Image

Kimmy! I wanted endgame with you, I really did. I had been relatively in control the entire game, and your boot was when I realized the rug can be pulled out from under me just as easily as I can pull it out from under others. I had fun playing with you though. Of every vote I cast in the game, yours was the only one where I was in the minority (Sarah vote technically too, but I knew what was happening). I hope that means something, because I was not ready for you to leave.

9. Image

Oh Vee. Allies in the early game by necessity, and just before the swap happened we were already targeting each other. I guess it was meant to be that we would wind up on opposite sides.

8. Image

I hope you don't take it too personally that I didn't use my idol to save you. I loved playing with you and you were one of my closest allies in the game, but your moves were incredibly unpredictable and I knew you were playing for yourself to win. Also, I know a lot of people still in the game disliked you but a lot of the ever-growing jury appreciated your antics. You were a huge threat to take the title in my book.

7. Image

Of everyone here, you were the one I enjoyed talking to the most. Our pre-merge talks were so fun, and I'm disappointed we got so into the game we forgot to chat with each other. I respect the game you played more than any other player here, and that is why I had to vote you out. If any player in this game embodies Outwit, Outplay, Outlast, it was you.

6. Image

Incredible to think that you went from almost being the first boot to almost winning this game. You were an all around threat and I've got a lot of respect for you. It should be a testament to your skill as a player that you were an obvious threat as soon as the merge hit and it took us six vote-offs to get around to voting you out.

5. Image

The nicest guy in this game and the best social game by a country mile. Voting you out was legitimately hard, and I look forward to playing Smash with you when we're all done. Hope you enjoy your time in Vegas!

Pre-Jurors
John
John... you were here for a period of about 3 days, I guess. Or something close. But you were someone not to mess around with during that point, and your boot started an experience that's been absolutely great.

Peter
You were guilty by association, I guess. It's a bit sad because I'm pretty sure you would've voted for John if you'd known he was the vote. I just think you arrived a bit late and people had already been talking to each other so they didn't tell you about it. You seemed like a loyal person as well and I don't think people wanted to risk it. You were forced into a spot where you were the next to go when John left.

Diane
Haven't talked to you ever and I don't really know too much about you, but from what I've heard, you were in the same sort of mindset as John. Play really hard, really fast. And that's what bit you.

Big Tom
I don't really have an opinion on you, Big Tom! The only thing I really know about you is you saying good luck to me at tribal when I had my little fit after the second immunity challenge and Mariche lost. Even if it was sarcastic, thanks!

General
You were a lot of fun to have around, but you got a little screwed by the swap! It happens all the time and it sucks that you were the one to get duped because of it. I do remember having some good conversations with you but I never really did have a good connection with you.

Frank
You seem to be sort of an enigma to me. Everyone has inside jokes about you and you seemed to be like a good player, but that's about as far as my opinion on you goes. You were definitely here to play... I think you might've just dug yourself a hole.

Jury
Kim J
Oh, Kim J. We never really did have time to get to know each other very well, but you did seem like someone that I could've had really good conversations with. We just got started out on the wrong foot because I had this idea that you were someone that I could not mess around with, and I honestly don't think you were. You were a threat, and that's why you were voted out. You were the first of a threat-heavy jury, and regardless of how your vote falls, I've got respect for your game.

Clarence
I doubt that you're much of a fan of me, because I promised you that you weren't leaving and then you did 10 minutes later. Your smileys and attempts to be really nice and trustworthy to people you barely knew made you someone that was very easy to target. Your boot was definitely a crazy one, but it needed to happen.

Kim P
Honestly, you were probably the person I talked to the most on NuMariche other than Patricia. It's just that every time we talked, it was you trashing Kim P and Frank and how you wanted to stick with NuMariche. Which, you did, you just went a bit quiet and were someone that I couldn't keep around. I can't speak for Patricia, but I voted you out because I was never really sure where your head was at the merge and I could easily see you butting heads with me. I just got you out before you potentially got me out.

Vecepia
Vecepia, you were attached to Sean at the hip. What made it worse was that you swapped with him, which only made the target of you two as a pair even bigger. Sean was seen as the head of the snake in my eyes and you were the body. I chopped off the body of the snake so that the head was weaker and easier to kill.

Sarah
I can honestly say that you were my closest ally in the very beginning of the game. I got a bit peeved with you and the Cacique title, and I'm still not exactly sure why, but I did. When it came to the merge, I wasn't very appreciative of your attitude and cockiness. You rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, including me, and so I voted you out. You were a threat to win if you ever got there, and it was just time. It's just a bit disheartening that you decided to take all of your anger out on me.

Patricia
Patricia... my best friend in this game. Patricia, you were seriously a rock to stand by and someone that I could easily confide in at any time. I had great conversations with you, both about the game and not. Everybody saw you as someone that was a threat, and as I said about Kim J, you added on to a threat-filled jury. I had to vote you off because there was no chance I could win after playing behind your shadow for a bit. Though I played behind you and used you as a shield strategically, you were still one of the, if not the, players/player I enjoyed the most. I look forward to talking to you after the game, and hopefully maintaining a good relationship!

Sean
You asked me for an alliance on day 1, and from there on out, I never trusted you. It's funny to say that, but I saw it as really fishy, especially after you said you thought we both had similar personalities when I don't think we were similar at all. But you were obviously an amazing player for having such a target and lasting all the way to the final 6. You were someone that I was always afraid of butting heads with, and even at the tribal council where you left, you had me freaking out. I was terrified that I was going to be leaving that night with everything that was going on. From Lindsey freaking out, Gina nearly playing the idol on you, everyone telling everyone what they wanted to hear... it was terrifying, but I'm glad that you left, or else I might not be here right now.

Lex
Lex. I consider you to be my bromance, admittedly. We exchanged too many icon_wub 's for our relationship not to be considered one. You were not supposed to leave at the final 5, and if you didn't, there's a chance you might even be where I am now. It was really sad to vote you out, but Lindsey had a little panic before tribal council and put me in a decision where I didn't know what to do. I honestly wanted both you and Gina out before the finals, so I went to random.org to decide for me. I think random.org was right, because I'm here still and Gina didn't win the final immunity. You are seriously someone that I ridiculously respect and admire for your intellect and honesty. I sincerely hope that we can maintain our bromance after the game and I hope that you don't think anything less of me for voting you out.

Final 4
Gina
Even though I'm doing these a bit late and you're already gone, you're someone that I respect highly. Playing this game with you has been an absolute blast. We've been together since day 1, and we were together until nearly the last. I have high hopes that you won't dislike me for doing what I did. I do have a little grudge against you, though. Your vote at the final 4 was the only vote against me the entire game.

Linda
You're actually someone I never expected to become too close too, but I honestly can say that you're one of my favorite people I played with. You played with your brain and your heart and you still ended up in the final 3. I respect you so much as a person and a player for being raw with how you felt and not being afraid to let people know it. We were never on a tribe together until the merge, but it feels like it's been much, much, longer. I can remember like it was yesterday, thinking that the picture used in your Tamanaco avatar made you look incredibly sickly and gaunt.

Lindsey
You were much like Linda in that you played with your heart AND your smart. I loved, loved, loved playing this game with you and you were always someone that was thinking and we had some of the most substantial conversations in the game. I'm incredibly happy with the game that you and Linda played and am so ecstatic that I made it to the final 3 with you and her.

Hosts

I'd like to thank each of you. Holly, Kim, Brenda, Jeff, Mia, Penny, and Carl (even though I never saw you post!). You guys put so much effort into making this an amazing experience for each of the players and could not have done any better of a job. From each of the frustrating questions you asked everyone that made people paranoid and think about what they needed to do and their position in the game, to just having a good sense of humor on the boards and not taking anything too seriously, you made the game what it is. Love you all. <3

PRE-MERGE

John
I never met you, but from what I heard you were a huge threat and played very hard and fast. I wish we could have gotten the chance to play together.
Overall Edgic: CPN

Peter
I never met you either!
Overall Edgic: UTR

Diane
Oh, Diane... You came out of the gate swinging, that's for sure. I think you had good intentions but they got misconstrued because everyone was kinda looking to jump on someone for an easy first vote and you were already playing hard. I think had you lasted longer you would have definitely made this game even more interesting.
Overall Edgic: OTTN

Big Tom
I still can't @ you throwing me under the bus after I tried to do something nice for you. icon_laughing But you know what they say, all is fair in love, war and Survivor, so I don't blame you for it.
Overall Edgic: MOR

General
I definitely wish I had had the chance to meet you because everyone only has nice things to say about you. It sucks that you were a casualty in Sean and Frank's game of chicken because, as I said, I really wish I got to meet you, you seemed cool.
Overall Edgic: MORP

Frank
You definitely left an impression during your relatively short stay... You were a force to be reckoned with. As soon as we started talking, I could tell you were extremely intelligent. I really like you and I'm not exactly sure what happened on NuTamanaco for people to have such a negative impression of you but either way, good game, wish we could've reunited at merge or something.
Overall Edgic: CPN

JURY

Kim J
Mama Kim <33 You were one of the genuinely nicest people in this game. I don't think you really have a mean bone in your body. I loved talking to you and I really am sad that you left first at merge for being at threat because I think we could've made a great alliance. You were nice and you were loyal and just an overall positive presence.
Overall Edgic: MORP

Clarence
Oh, Clarence... You confuse me. Our relationship was kind of up and down. At NuMariche we made a f2 deal but you were wheeling and dealing with everyone so IDK if it was sincere. You were extremely shady and hard to read in the game, which made you dangerous. I like you on a personal level though.
Overall Edgic: MORN

Kim P
The other Kim! Like your Kim counterpart, you were also a positive presence in the game. While most saw you as quiet, I saw you as someone who was determined. You were scrappy and always positive no matter what the circumstances were... Even though you were pretty much in the minority from the first day of the swap until your elimination. I admire that you kept a positive attitude and I like you a lot.
Overall Edgic: UTRP

Vecepia
You were the hardest person to read here. You were quiet and while some people disliked you, I never quite understood why. I'm guessing it was strategy on your part to sort of have Sean as your shield and I think your gameplay was very underrated, like the real Vecepia. I enjoyed talking to you on the rare occasion where we did speak and like I said, you're a great player.
Overall Edgic: UTR

Sarah
Sarah... You were sort of all over the place, and I mean that in the best way possible! You were great at challenges and strategically unpredictable - a deadly combination. But beyond that, you were also someone who was hilarious and a lot of fun and I enjoyed talking to you and working with you. You were a great underdog, too.
Overall Edgic: OTTM

Patricia
Fatty Patty icon_wub You know I love you lots. You were definitely one of the people I talked to the most about stuff outside of this game... and I think that's what made you such a force to be reckoned with, too. People were eager to trust you because you were great at talking to people about stuff that had nothing to do with this game. You were a fantastic player and while I wish we could have gone to the end together, it just wasn't destined to happen. You're a good sport and a very warm person.
Overall Edgic: CP

Sean
Oh, Sean. I admire you so much as a player, as if I hadn't already said that enough. You were seriously fantastic at getting other people to do your bidding and manipulating people and had you made f3, there was no way you could have lost. A lock for an All-Stars season, I'm sure. And as a person, I like you a lot too. You're really nice, cool and funny and I'm sure that contributed to your in-game success.
Overall Edgic: CPM

Lex
You were someone in the game that I think every single person loved. You didn't have a mean or deceptive bone in your body and I loved you for it because I knew I could trust you with anything. I loved talking to you about Survivor and anything and everything else because you're very smart as well. You could've easily beat anyone at FTC just because you were that well-liked.
Overall Edgic: OTTP

Gina
Gina <3 My closest friend and ally. I hope you aren't too upset with me about voting you out and I hope you see that it was just a move in the game and I could never love you any less. I seriously loved working with you so much and it was crazy how we were on the same page so often without even talking about things first. You were a great player and I enjoyed getting to know you as a person as well and I hope that can continue after the game.
Overall Edgic: MORP

FINAL THREE

Gabriel
Gabe <3 I'm glad we're sitting at the end together because I really do feel like we hit it off from the first few minutes where I got swapped over to Mariche. And I never looked back. I have lots of love for you both as a player and on a personal level and it's always nice to be sitting next to someone who you like, respect and would be thrilled to see win at the end.
Overall Edgic: UTRP

Linda
Well, well... This has been quite the ride, now hasn't it? We've had some crazy highs and crazy lows but I think it's awesome that the first person I talked to and aligned with in the game is someone I'm sitting at the end with as well, no matter what happened in between. I think you're a great person and even if you got caught up in your emotions sometimes it's something I'm often guilty of as well. I think it just makes you more human. I've loved getting to know you and I love the storyline of us being BFFs turned adversaries turned F3 allies.

didn't realize we were supposed to do the F4 too, so I will finish this up

4. Image

Gina, me and you didn't really talk much until about F8, but when that happened, particularly our long night conversation where we plotted Sarah and Patty's vote off...that was very enjoyable. You were awesome, you were fun, and you were a huge threat. I wish we had gotten to play together more this game. I look forward to Brawling with you :P

Final 3

Image

Not going to lie, my first impression of you was terrible when you were whining about losing the first two challenges icon_laughing . I did come to love you when we finally were able to talk at merge. You are a really sweet guy and I can't thank you enough for letting me vent to you a few times. I'm glad to have made it this far with you

Image

Haha oh Lindsey....we've had quite the journey, havn't we? Like you said, from BFFS to adversaries to final 3 partners...well one cannot say that this isn't a fitting ending to our storyline. I think we both did rather well for ourselves after that messy breakup. You were my favorite person for the first half of the game, and it was a joy to see you again at merge. You're still great, and i do hope we can continue talking after this game
