Episode 08

Wow, what a way to start the merge, but there are a few things we'd like to know.

Kim J left with a strong majority tonight. Do you think that maybe it was a wasted opportunity to take out a bigger player?

There's been a lot of talk about idols in the recent rounds, particularly with Sean. No sign of them at tribal council though. Does it concern you that there's this talk but nothing has happened yet? What about the new idol that has been hidden?

Now that we've hit the jury, how do you plan on impressing those watching in order to convince them YOU should win Stranded in Venezuela?

No, it wasn't a wasted opportunity to take out a bigger player. She was the original Cacique of the Tamanaco Tribe. You could say we cut the head off of the snake of the Tamanaco tribe. Well everyone thinks the idol is real. Sean photoshopped both of them and they are fake. The only people that know this are me, Sean and Gabe. Sean is going to give the fake idol to Linda to gain trust with her and make sure Sean doesn't have too much power within our alliance with Lex and Linda. In addition, Sean has found the REAL idol hidden in the Ye'kuana beach. So we have a fake idol and a real one.

The first thing I have to do to impress the jury is to not stand behind the shadow of Sean. I'm eventually going to have to betray him or he would beat me in FTC. I definitely have to make some moves on my own and betray some people.

Black Widow = someone that lures and reels people in and then kills them once they are close. I think he meant clique and not peak icon_laughing

I want to go back to your merge confessional;
Vecepia wrote:I'm still thinking of it as Mariche vs Tamanaco. Our tribe needs to gain a numbers majority. The individual game doesn't really change my plan. You still need to align with people and lie to people. I've made an 8 person alliance w/ sean, gabe, pat, Gina, lex, Linda and Lindsey. The boot order is looking like the 2 caciques will go first. It seems to be kim j then Sarah then Clarence and finally Kim p. We will go from there

This confuses me a little. Linda & Lindsey were original Tamanaco for starters, and if you count them as NuMariche why aren't you and Sean Nu Tamanaco?

Also this opens a plethora of questions - where do you stand with Linda after targeting her previously? What is your impression of Lindsey and how do you trust her only meeting her for the first time now? You say Sarah is to leave next (still the plan?) but she is OG Mariche too.

It is all well & good forward planning, but just worried looking at that final eight if you've mapped out an escape route from that? Or do you just trust at that point you will be in a majority within that?

I was referring to Vecepia's banging widow's peak... and she's black and she's a black widow. :)

I should know to just always presume racism with you Jeffie.

But back to Vee. Once you hit that Q above answer me this too;

Tell me about timing here. How late is too late to make a move like this? Who do you want to make that kind of move with and who would you like to be sitting beside at the end? Basically, outline for me your loose gameplan for now till finals.

I'm not saying I'm opposed to working with Tamanaco members. In the end I feel I have more loyalty to someone like Sean or Gabe then I do to Lindsey or Linda. Linda and I are now allies working towards a common goal of surviving. I wouldn't feel bad if I voted her out though. I feel like Lindsey is trustworthy but smart at the same time. She acts like she doesn't know what's going on and goes with the flow but in reality she could have a tight hold on the tribe. Sarah was really an outsider on Mariche. She used her immunity as a way to convey her thoughts to the rest of the tribe and belittle us. She voted for Sean last tribal so she isn't loyal to the tribe.

I'm thinking that the right time to get rid of Sean is around Final 6/Final7. If all goes according to plan the boot order will be something like: Sarah, Clarence, Kim P, Lindsey, then Lex or Linda. At this point there will be maybe 5 Mariche and 1-2 Taco left. I'll then probably get Lex and Linda on board with me and Gabe to boot out Sean while he has 1 REAL idol and 2 FAKE ones. I think I'm the only one who knows he has an idol at this point. I'd like to sit next to probably Gabe and Linda in the end. They really haven't done much on their own this game.
