Episode 11

Another Tribal Council, another blindside.

Are you worried that the next blindside may be on you? What measures are you taking to keep yourself safe?

Who is your next target?

As crazy as it sounds... We could totally see a unanimous vote at the next TC.

Lindsey, Gina, Gabe and I are 100% voting for Sarah. Worst that can happen is a tie. But I can't see Linda/Lex/Sean wanting to stick with Sarah.]

OMG Sarah flipping is seriously the best thing that could've happened. I couldn't have planned it better myself.

I'll give a biggie confessional later but right now i'm going to just dance and bask.

I am quite curious of all your talk of flipping back and forth from last round's update, and how you think the Juror's will take that as they go to the Jury house one by one as you betray them.

Do you believe you can then turn around at TC and "re-connect" with them then? Or are you hoping they value it as a strategy enough to turn a blind eye to their broken hearts?

Big update will still come over the weekend as I formalize my thoughts, but to answer your question I'm hoping that I can convince them at FTC that it was all gameplay and that I can re-connect and earn their respect. I'd rather they respect my gameplay than like it. I definitely think that they've got some ill-feelings towards me, but as long as I can address their concerns in a dominant but respectful way I should be able to make them feel good about voting for me, and that's what clinches games. You need to make people feel you did what was in your own best interest, and you need to do it in such a way that they still feel good voting for you.

So no big update... and no patricia yesterday. Do you feel like you missed a lot? Are you worried that your name and Sean's name came up the most in terms of threats. How do you divert that target off of your back? Thus far, your moves in the game have been anything but obvious, are you going to continue that or will the next move be very obvious?

I thought we had until tomorrow icon_razz, I was pretty busy up until right this moment so i'm really glad I didn't accidentally miss a vote. But update is here and ready to go!

So, with the extra note of the double TC tomorrow... I'm really going to have to tread lightly. At the very least this next vote should be obvious... I'm praying. Voting for Sarah, as far as I can tell it should be unanimous. And Lindsey's telling Sarah to vote for I think Sean? So if by some miracle Sarah decides to finally play an idol (although I'm convinced she doesn't because she absolutely would've played it by now) then hopefully Sean would get taken out instead of me.

Although at this point, I think my best chance at winning is for Sean to make it with me to F5. I need him being a bigger threat than me to shield me from being targeted.

After missing a lot of yesterday's kerfuffle I feel surprisingly good. Even though I wasn't there to provide input, I still had 47 messages between all my fellow tribe-mates. This alone makes me feel that they aren't considering targeting me because if they were I imagine that number would be a lot lower. I'm very clearly in their plans at least for the Sarah boot. It's the followup that has me a little riddled. I don't know how hard to target Lindsey, but I'm definitely targeting her. I'm waiting on Gabe's input atm to decide exactly how we're going to approach this double boot, but I also know that Sean's with me because he, like me, must feel that going to at least F5 with each other is the only way either of us is going to make the finals.

So, I'm going to safely assume it's Sarah going next so i'm particularly worried about the F7 vote.

Here are the dynamics as I see them:
*Lindsey/Gina
Lindsey/Gina/Gabe/Pat
Gina/Gabe/Pat
*Gabe/Pat
*Gabe/Pat/Sean
*Gabe/Pat/Linda
Gabe/Lex
*Sean/Lex/Linda
Gabe/Sean/Lex/Linda
Lex/Linda

Asterisked are the ones i'm more sure about with the others being a bit sketchy at best

I think at the very least Sean/Linda would be on board to get rid of Lindsey next vote, but I want to try and bring Gina on board. She felt betrayed when we got rid of Kimp, and for her to still want to go to the end with Gabe and I we're going to need her ok for the Lindsey vote, but we can't strongarm her. And we can't have her throwing us under the bus so... It might be a thing to tell Gina after the challenge that Gabe is seriously considering voting Lindsey, and as he goes so does my nation. Kind of throwing Gabe under the bus but as long as it's done tastefully Gabe won't be too angry, and Gina will feel more trusting of me for keeping her in the loop.

Right now it's just about making sure that i'm in people's plans. If for a moment they feel like they could pull of a move without me, i'm in hot water. I just need to make lots of people need me around :P

So we're going to have yet another unanimous vote in Stranded haha. Here's my question about unanimous votes, the person who goes AFTER that unanimous vote always missed an opportunity to make a move before the move was made on them. So essentially by everyone agreeing to boot someone unanimously they are either A. taking out a large threat or B. hoping they have their ducks in a row for the following boots. Otherwise everyone who does not win will have missed an opportunity here.

Do you feel like you have your ducks in a row enough to sacrifice an opportunity here?

After Sarah leaves, who will be the biggest targets to be booted and in what order.

It's an interesting point, but here's the catch: Both parties are assuming that the other is not in on booting Sarah.

Sean/Linda/Lex want Sarah gone because she's not a part of the majority alliance. Lindsey/Gina want Sarah gone because she betrayed them. Both parties assume that the other group will use Sarah to vote against them. Gabe and I are the great mediators.

So, even though the vote may well be unanimous, this hardly means that everyone knows that Sarah will be going unanimously. I assume that both groups believe Sarah will go by a closer margin, and since they're unaware of the opportunity to make a move, I don't think that it can count as a 'missed opportunity'.

As for myself, I will definitely admit that i'm worried about being the second target of the night, so i'm definitely going to be trying my best at the immunity challenge, however there is no scenario where working with Sarah and letting her last another night benefits me more than anyone else. Keeping Sarah just gives Lindsey/Gina more options as we get closer and closer to F6 where the three of them could potentially overthrow.

Once Sarah is gone, the biggest threats are myself, Lindsey and Sean. I think an argument could be made for Gina as a threat as well

Based on the survey, I have to believe that people are worried about me and talking about targeting me... I just also have to hope that I'm not a target until it's too late. I fully believe that if I make F6, I'll have a very good chance to win as there'll be 5 other people who each have very good reasons to go to the end with me, 4 of which have promised to.

Let's say you boot Sarah and you are the next target, do you believe that you have the numbers and relationships to survive until tomorrow?

I believe I've set myself up in a position where I should be able to survive both of these oncoming votes.

I really couldn't have asked for a better TC in terms of getting the threat level target off my back :P

And thanks to Sarah, Lindsey/Gina/Sean are all going to get voted out.
