My Jury Questionnaire

I'll probably edit this until I'm satisfied with it (by reposting it lol) but here goes...

Hi guys,

Congratulations first of all for making it to the end! While I'm definitely disappointed I couldn't be there myself, where I'm sitting is the second best spot because now I can unleash my grand juror speech and questions icon_chaos . The most important thing I want you guys to know is I DO NOT want to hear what you may "think" I want to hear, I want to hear the truth and I'm sure the jury does too. I encourage all 3 of you to read each other's questions and answers because it provides some context you may not know. My vote is still open to being changed, and while it's pretty clear I do have someone mind from my questions/statements, if I get satisfactory answers from somebody else I will most assuredly consider switching my vote. Also the jury will dislike it if you choose not to answer my questions.
Also I want long detailed answers, unless there's no way for you to make the answer long. I'm not known for writing small amounts of stuff like Kimmy is icon_razz and I expect the same respect/treatment in return. I am NOT bitter over my elimination but there are other things I am not happy about.

Before I do this, however, I know some of you (or one of you) saw my story about the day I got eliminated, but I'll write it again in case you guys forget or haven't seen it so you know the kind of luck I have. And I want to rant a bit. I woke up at 4 a.m. with 3 hours of sleep (I have mild insomnia if anyone has noticed) to board my flight at 6, which would have transferred at Calgary and arrived at Vegas at around 4 p.m. However, my 6 a.m. flight got cancelled due to "mechanical problems", which after waiting in the queue line tired as hell for over an hour I finally got booked on another flight which left at around 3 p.m., by the time I finished eating breakfast with the vouchers they gave me for my cancelled flight (as luck would have it, I'm pretty sure it was one of two flights that was cancelled that entire day, and as more luck would have it, they had no extra airplanes to use because they were at Toronto due to some disaster that I hadn't heard about.) and got back home, it was around 9 pm, and I slept until 1 pm and then left straight for my flight to Calgary. When I got there I found out it had been delayed, and my laptop's battery is so worn out after 3 years of use it can't last for more than 20 minutes, so I used my mobile the whole time I was at the airport, quickly sending messages to whomever I could. After I boarded my flight, when I got to Calgary I had to catch my next flight in about an hour but the person I was traveling with decided to go shopping for half an hour because they thought the time zone between Calgary and my home city was 1 hour difference. It wasn't. So we ended up having to sprint to the other end of the airport, through U.S. customs, and when we finally got there we found out our flight had yet again been delayed. That is why I didn't message anybody until I was almost boarding when I was at Calgary, I was rushed and for some dumb reason there was no internet access at the reception area at the Calgary airport, it had a password on it icon_huh .

So I boarded the plane, which by the way wasn't even going to get me down to the U.S. in time to catch the important event I was going to go to, PLUS it would make me miss immunity & tribal. Double whammy. When I finally arrived I rushed to the shuttle (btw Vegas is hot compared to Canada, damn...) while trying to use my mobile to see the results of the vote, and I saw my name in purple LOL. And I chuckled a bit because my day was so laughably unlucky, seriously what are the chances of all of that happening? Plus PMs were disabled. icon_cry
I had ended up sleeping the whole trip here because I was exhausted from being stressed the whole day, so I ended up staying up until 4 a.m. last night talking mostly with Brenda and people from Ponderosa (but I talked with Holly a tiny bit too). So I had 3 hours of sleep AGAIN and got up at 7 a.m. the next day (or should I say, later that day) because I had to go to an all-day seminar which I just finished 4 hours ago.

Again, I want to reiterate I don't blame you guys for voting me out, but if I'm a tiny bit cranky it's because of that (or because somebody didn't capitalize a letter when they should have). Although I definitely have to say, the manner in which I got eliminated is a pretty disappointing way to go, I wish I knew what would have happened if I won immunity that night. Jeff could have had us each run it whenever we wanted and time us (or have me run it later and time me) but it didn't cross his mind I guess. icon_glare

Linda

I'm definitely a bit sore from getting voted out the night I did along with Sean (even though that was my idea) because I feel him and I pretty much carried you for a long time throughout the merge after Lindsey backstabbed you and you became apathetic. icon_sad No big deal though, I was half expecting my vote off anyway. Here's my question(s) for you:

Were you planning to blindside me before Sean pretty much screwed me the night he got voted out? For the love of God don't post that "it is a mystery" ghost.
What ultimately changed your vote from Gina to me? Right when I was stepping on my flight I remember reading something along the lines of "I'm leaning towards Gina" and "I'll tell you if I vote you out", and while I can understand why you voted me that night, I want to know what ultimately made up your mind in the vote, and the reasoning for not telling me you were voting me out :p. If it's as simple as you thought I would be on the plane, that's fine. Also, please explain the background behind this?

Linda wrote:
Mia wrote:So, my questioning is wrong then, Linda? A normal person would scoff at this notion, but as I host, I only see a question opportunity!

So why don't you tell me WHERE I'm wrong. Are certain pairs planning on splitting up? Is there a hidden deal that we don't know about? Or what?

I can say confidently that at least one pair is not as strong as they think. A heartfealt plea sent before someone went on a plane proved that

Lastly, I want to know what your strategy was coming into this game, and how you executed/modified/adapted that strategy.

Lindsey

I definitely like you as a person, but I have to say that the fact you were so quick to order Gina to idol me out in the Sean vote was surprising, to say the least... It definitely hurt me that we had such long conversations before that, and long conversations about strategy, that you would have idol'd me out without a second thought, and this is all even though we had talked with each other 1:1 (at least, it was from my side) about that vote. I didn't mention how I felt, but all I ever was to you was genuine and completely honest (except for the F6 vote where I fibbed about the Gabe vote, which didn't even matter anyway) although I know I'm partly to blame for trusting you after you backstabbed Linda.
I don't care about me getting voted out and I'm not bitter at all about it, but after Sean's vote I felt really manipulated. However, it didn't surprise me when you said you'd probably vote me and I'm glad you were honest with me about that.

With that being said, here's my question for you:

What was your game plan/strategy coming into this game, and how did you execute/modify/adapt that strategy? Honestly speaking for me I have the impression your gameplay was one-dimensional (not showing much adaptability other than the swap), lucky in the fact that I was stupid and played to keep the people I liked in the game longer, including you (you have no idea how many votes I actually saved you from, I wasn't lying), and heinous because of what you did to Linda and your manipulation of me. I really like you as a person but I absolutely detest your gameplay. However I am STILL open to voting for you if you give me a satisfactory answer.

Gabriel

Sup brother,

There's so many things I wanted to talk to you about the night I got voted out but I didn't have time icon_sad . I hate planes. However I am sure you got my last message/my dying wish and I hope you keep it in mind because I meant everything I said there 100%. Thank you for being a genuine guy (at least, in my eyes) all the way to the end of the game, and I hope you will continue now. :P
Also, to me your mastery of almost every aspect of the game is impeccable and I hope your FTC performance matches up.

Here's my question for you:

The night I got voted out, after I boarded my final plane from Calgary, did Linda tell you if she was voting me or not? Just curious, seriously haha. Linda you can verify his answer if you want to. Also, explain to me your strategy coming into the game and how you executed/modified/adapted that strategy, don't let me down! I think overall you played a near-perfect game, and you better own up to it.

Thanks everyone, I hope to see clarification and answers. icon_popcorn

The most important thing I want you guys to know is I DO NOT want to hear what you may "think" I want to hear, apologies or regret on what you may have done or could have done to change the game. I want to hear how you guys KICKED MY ASS and why you deserve to win. For the love of God don't be like Amanda when you answer these, or say something like it was an emotional rollercoaster. Say "I'm the best and kicked all your butts and this is why" not "Sorry for voting you off" or anything even along those lines. Be firm and be confident with your answers. I want to be impressed. icon_cool

Although I think most people would agree with me the manner in which I got eliminated is hella unlucky lol. I wish I knew what would have happened if I won immunity that night or had more time to talk with people, but we will never truly know because Gabe might not have messed up while counting to 2013 if I had been there, and I don't know if I would have been able to sway people had I had more time to talk with them. Guess that's just the way things work though, life is strange sometimes.

Linda

Well... I'm not sure what to say to you. I don't have a grudge against you but I think you have the weakest case right now out of all 3 of the people in the finals tonight and I don't agree with many of the choices you made in the game at all, especially when you seemingly became very apathetic after you found out Lindsey was lying to you a lot. I think Sean and I did almost all of the work from that point onward and I don't think either of us (Sean & I) are very happy with how things went even though we don't show it on the outside. Here's my questions for you:

Were you planning to blindside me before Sean pretty much screwed me the night he got voted out? For the love of God don't post that "it is a mystery" ghost.

Even if you weren't being honest with me all the more power to you for managing to do that for so long to everybody without them even noticing. But right now, the problem is the jury isn't happy that your social game was lacking compared to Lindsey and they think your game was more luck than control of the game.

Here's my question for you:

That's the one thing I'm confused about in your strategy).

I think you have the weakest case right now out of all 3 of the people in the finals tonight and I don't agree with many of the choices you made in the game at all, especially when you seemingly became very apathetic after you found out Lindsey was lying to you a lot. I think Sean and I did almost all of the work from that point onward and I don't think either of us (Sean & I) are very happy with how things went even though we don't show it on the outside. I had questions for you before but they got answered already. This is my only question:

I want to know what your strategy was coming into this game and how you executed/modified/adapted that strategy over the course of the game. Also just because your segment is the shortest, it doesn't mean I won't vote for you if you give me a reason to, but I was paired with you almost the entire game and don't have much questions to ask ya. :p

Lindsey

I definitely like you as a person, but I have to say that the fact you were so quick to order Gina to idol me out in the Sean vote was surprising, to say the least... It definitely hurt me that we had such long conversations before that, and long conversations about strategy, that you would have idol'd me out without a second thought, and this is all even though we had talked with each other 1:1 (at least, it was from my side) about the Sean vote. I didn't mention how I felt, but all I ever was to you was genuine and completely honest (except for the F6 vote where I fibbed about the Gabe vote, which didn't even matter anyway in the end) although I know I'm partly to blame for trusting you after you backstabbed Linda.
I don't care about me getting voted out and I'm not bitter at all about it, but after Sean's vote I felt really manipulated whether or not it was your intention. However, it didn't surprise me when you said you'd probably vote me and I'm glad you were honest with me about that icon_glare .

With that being said, here's my question(s) for you:

What was your game plan/strategy coming into this game, and how did you execute/modify/adapt that strategy? Honestly speaking for me I have the impression your gameplay was one-dimensional (not showing much adaptability other than the swap), lucky in the fact that you dodged so many votes and, well... heinous because of what you did to Linda and your manipulation of me. I really like you as a person but I absolutely detest your gameplay. However I am STILL open to voting for you if you give me a satisfactory answer to this question.

Also, I'd like to know how you convinced Gabe to vote for me at F5, what was your argument? And tell me why you wanted to vote me off first instead of Gina anyway, it's not like I was a challenge threat (and I was also going to be busy the entire week) Q.Q .

Gabriel

I'm sure you got my last message and I hope you keep it in mind (or kept) because I meant everything I said there even though you ended up voting for me. To me your mastery of almost every aspect of the game is impeccable and I hope your FTC performance matches up. The fact that you only received one vote the entire game and played like Rob Cesternino is a huge A+. In fact I'd argue (and, well.. did) you played the entire jury including me. God this answer of yours is impressive. viewtopic.php?f=45&t=418&p=14883#p14880
Here's my question for you:

Explain to me your strategy coming into the game and how you executed/modified/adapted that strategy. I think overall you played a near-perfect game and you definitely kicked my ass the hardest out of the 3 sitting in the F3.. It's the steel toes... icon_blink Also I'd like to know why you changed your vote to me because of Lindsey's persuasion, tell me the logic behind keeping Gina instead of me (I proved myself pretty awful at challenges and wasn't going to be able to compete in the FTC due to being in Vegas, if you wanted to vote me out you could have done it at F4 almost assuredly. That's the one thing I'm confused about in your strategy).

EDIT #5

Congratulations first of all for making it to the end! While I'm definitely disappointed I couldn't be there myself, where I'm sitting is the second best spot because now I can unleash my grand juror speech (which Brenda asked me to cut down icon_evil ) and questions icon_chaos . I want to be impressed. icon_cool

I encourage all 3 of you to read each other's questions and answers because it provides some context you may not know. My vote is still open to being changed, and while I do have someone in mind, if I get satisfactory answers from somebody else I will most assuredly consider switching my vote. Also the jury will dislike it if you choose not to answer my questions.
Lastly, I want longish detailed answers (the jury is going to hate me for saying that) unless there's no way for you to make the answer long. I'm not known for writing small amounts of stuff like Kimmy is icon_razz and I expect the same respect/treatment in return. I am NOT bitter over my elimination moreso than other events which took place but I would still like to know the answers to what I ask you guys out of clarification on certain key elements in the game.

Also, I don't think your argument "I had to fight harder to get to the F3" is very valid. You were never in trouble at nuMariche since the original Tamanaco 6 had planned to throw challenges to vote off the minority from the start. :/ and the reason you had to fight harder to get to the end was because Gabe put himself in a better position to get to the end, at least IMO.

Also, I'd like to know how you convinced Gabe to vote for me at F5, what was your argument? And tell me why you wanted to vote me off first instead of Gina, it's not like I was a challenge threat (and I was also going to be busy the entire week) Q.Q .

Gabriel

Don't post random stuff like that weird haircut and keep answering questions please. Your answer here viewtopic.php?f=45&t=418&p=14883#p14880 was very impressive. Other than that...

Re: My Jury Questionnaire

EDIT #9

Congratulations first of all for making it to the end! While I'm definitely disappointed I couldn't be there myself, where I'm sitting is the second best spot because now I can unleash my grand juror speech (which Brenda asked me to cut down icon_evil ) and questions icon_chaos . I want to be impressed. icon_cool

Again, I want to reiterate I don't blame you guys for voting me out, but if I'm a tiny bit cranky it's because of how my elimination was pretty much one of the worst ways to go (I had no time to talk the whole day, missed immunity AND missed tribal) or because somebody didn't capitalize a letter when they should have.

Although I still have two questions for you:

What is the background behind this quote?

Linda wrote:

So why don't you tell me WHERE I'm wrong. Are certain pairs planning on splitting up? Is there a hidden deal that we don't know about? Or what?

I can say confidently that at least one pair is not as strong as they think. A heartfealt plea sent before someone went on a plane proved that

I also want to know what your strategy was coming into this game and how you executed/modified/adapted that strategy over the course of the game.

I wouldn't even say you shot yourself in the foot with that answer, you pretty much shot yourself in the chest.

Remember I was a latecomer though? I'm pretty sure I told you that. I took over ex-Lex's avatar, it was never assigned to me. Apparently ex-Lex thought of himself as a schemer of sorts.
