Whoops, I completely forgot about this - I thought to myself "I'll post in it this morning" and it just slipped me completely.
Right now I'm in an alliance with Sean, Vecepia and Linda, and our plan is to join up with Lindsey, Gabriel, Patricia & Gina in voting off the two Caciques. Then it'll most likely be 4v4 (or 5v3 if Lindsey joins us, or 3v5/2v6 if Sean/V defect, but I don't think they will) but we still have two immunity idols, and everyone thinks we've played them, so we have a huge advantage. Hopefully...
Because of the tribe swap Linda and I are pretty much a pair, we were talking a lot before the swap and after it we were pretty much the only person the other could trust; it's kind of like we've gone through so much together that neither of us really want to back out of staying together. (Although I personally feel sticking with her is a good idea.)
My approach/plan definitely changed, the pagong plan never worked out as we didn't have the numbers like we originally planned coming into the merge -- and I was right about Frank, I was sure he would vote for me instead of splitting the votes (and he made a deal with Sean it looked like) so our blindside of him was the right move.
The next votes -- the two Caciques, I wasn't the one who decided to vote that way and am kind of going along with it but I don't really mind that vote either, I knew being Cacique would instantly put a huge target on your back (if I was in the game at the time of this, I wouldn't have volunteered because it's like signing your own death warrant) and from what I hear from the Mariche members, none of them really liked Sarah in the first place. And I don't know if Kim J. will be willing to stick with us after we blindsided Frank, who was her closest ally. So the vote seems to be going well for now.
One of the ideas I wanted to keep in mind was a quote from Rob Cesternino, who said "Imagine if you were your tribemates, who you would vote off next, then after that, and so on. If it's you they would vote off, then do something to fix it." It's roughly paraphrased but you get the point... so I'm still trying to be cautious as once there's 8 players Sean and V might join the Mariche members against us, and I'm thinking of a way to get around that. Although I'm becoming friends with Gina and Patricia so everything is going well for now from my perspective.
