Were you only using him for his idols then, does this mean there's no real bond there? I got the impression from you before that the whole Lex/Linda/Sean/Vee set-up was based on more than just convenience. Where does this leave Linda in your plans? - you two being the only two left standing after coming through the entire game on the same side.
Not really. I don't mind that he doesn't actually have the idols, I respect him for being able to trick everybody like he did and make it here when he was on the outside from day 1. It's just disappointing that we don't actually have any idols anymore like I thought we did. I'm sticking with him for now. I'm still talking with Linda 1:1 but I haven't said much recently because she was really hurt last night and I don't want to ask too much of her yet.
Brenda Lowe wrote:Where do you rate Sean as a player after this. More a schemer / fake, or more threatening for pulling off whatever went down on NuTamanaco. Where does Vecepia fit into all of this?
Still think I can trust him, he did what he had to do to make it here and I respect him for that. Vecepia is really attached to him and she seems to want to stay with him regardless of what happens next. I don't think we can separate the two.
Brenda Lowe wrote:Thing #2, a new alliance? Do you mean a group thing with them all, or does "in that order" mean you are talking more about a solid one-on-one here?
Update on that - Gabriel and Patricia have (seemingly) joined us 4 for a majority of 6 because they don't want to stick around Lindsey & co. We're aiming for F6 now, after that I'm not certain. I had so much laid out awhile ago and then it all got crushed so I don't want to think too far ahead this time :P
Brenda Lowe wrote:Thing #3, and this is probably big enough to warrant a whole 'nother thread. But I am curious about how you say you were glad to stay out of the crossfire / keep your mouth shut. Yet also, that you typed things up several times then deleted them. I guess you are on the verge between a public or private player. I'm not sure how to even explore that with you, but is staying schtum always the better option? Is this some purposeful push at identity management or are you just naturally one to bite your tongue in a slanging match? You don't seem shy lol, hell, no-ones shy online and hiding behind a different identity I don't think?
The main stuff I was typing up was to get people to calm down, but also something that wouldn't incite anybody else. The only thing I really said in the argument was to Kim P. after she said "Is it true you were trying to get me voted out Linda??" and I said "No, that was Clarence." Almost everything else I typed didn't seem like it would help the scene/people might call me out/it wasn't completely true, so I deleted it. Everybody who talked a lot last night are pretty much the targets now, so I was sure keeping quiet (for the most part) was the better thing to do, at least for me... by crossfire I mean if I started shooting at someone, somebody else might start shooting at me because I'm shooting at their ally, for example.
I'm not really shy [online] I just don't want to get involved in arguments/fights.
Brenda Lowe wrote:And what is really interesting to me - is how the people you view as potential new alliance mates are the same people who were the quietest last night. Is this a quality you are looking to work with? Or is it more a fear of not wanting to work with the people who might blurt something out that you then regret?
I was looking for a couple people to ally with because we needed numbers last night since everybody who we thought was with us actually wasn't (Lindsey, Kim P., Clarence) and I thought the people who were quiet like me would most appreciate/be willing to join with me in an alliance because I was quiet as well. If that makes sense.
Brenda Lowe wrote:So what would it take for you to GET LOUD at a tribal council? What if you found yourself in that Clarence/KimP situation as last night - would you then be willing to throw some people under the bus in public or do you feel it's too late by that point. I guess I'm asking, if you find out mid-TC your ass is on the line, are you gonna sit there cursing the lack of PMs or are you gonna fight to stay alive?
Well... I would sure hope nothing like that happened to me, and I've been careful to avoid that scenario so far. If it ever did happen I'd understand why and I would definitely try to keep myself in the game, but I wouldn't do it the way it happened last night. Now nobody will vote for Kim P. if she makes it to the end, and they wouldn't have voted for Clarence if he made it to the end because he screwed over so many people by revealing everybody's plans that nobody wants to either ally with him or vote for him in the end.
Basically, I'd definitely try to keep myself alive while angering as little people as possible.
