Episode 07

icon_chaos MERGE! icon_chaos

It's so big it needs two chaos emoticons!

So much to talk about. Where is your head at now that the tribes have been put together as one? This is now an individual game, how does that change your approach? What is your plan from here?

I want lots of gossip this round. Need info for my host blog. icon_cool

My approach has changed from 'get people I trust to the merge' to 'get myself to the end with two people I can beat'. There has been a 'super alliance' proposed of everyone except Kim J, Kim P, Clarence and Sarah. While it's nice and dandy to be included in that alliance, Clarence and Sarah were two of the people I wanted to take to the end because I think they would be so beatable. Clarence is perceived as shady as hell, and no one trusts a word out of his mouth. I thought he and I had a close secret thing but then I find out he's making these deals with everyone. I don't think people respect that type of play. Sarah is far far far too honest with how she feels about people. She's blunt to the point of rudeness and has no social tact at all. She openly celebrated when Kim J dropped out of this last challenge. I don't think she could pull a single vote.

I'll just talk about everyone here.

Patricia- Obviously my closest ally and the person I like most. I tell her everything. Sadly she's also completely unbeatable in the finals. By anyone. I've gotta stick with her til close to the end game then vote her out. Should my game progress that far... this would be a tough one. I'm genuinely worried that voting Patricia out could lose me jury votes, but taking her to the end would lose me every jury vote. I'm hoping at some point someone decides to blindside her and not let me in on it just so I don't have to go through the heartbreak of writing her name down.

Gabe- He's in my core alliance but he's just along for the ride. He's a strange, strange man but a good guy. I could see myself taking him to the end.

Sarah- The girl has very few social skills and is paranoid as all hell. I guess justifiably so.

Gina- A sexy beautiful goddess who has this game in the bag. I'm excited to watch her play on the next all-stars season.

Sean- The dude has two idols. We're gonna have to blindside him soon because if he makes the endgame he is a huge threat! His epic move back on nu-Tamanaco combined with his likability isn't gonna fly for me. I really wanna try and blindside him at F11 or F10.

Vee- Who?

Lex- I have no idea where his allegiances lie. He's nice enough, but of the players in this game I think I know the least about him.

Kim P- I kinda considered her a non-entity until her crazy concentration in the last challenge. I think staying in that long did her more harm than good.

Clarence- Shady dude with few friends in this game. I'd prefer he stick around later than most of the others would prefer he stick around. I'm afraid though that if I pull some move to save him I'll wake up the next morning with a knife in my back.

Linda- She sure is playing hard for Lindsey to win the game.

Lindsey- Other than Pat, I think she is the biggest threat at the end. Everyone seems to love her and she has Linda attached at the hip. That kinda twosome is powerful in this game.

Kim J- She seems to be living with one foot in the grave at this point. Merge boot!

So you seem to be assessing which is the best move for you already despite having several alliances. Tell me your next plan of action. Is Kim J dead in the water, or do you see that as someone you can easily scoop up because of that?

Gotta think ahead, Probst.

I'd prefer to keep Kim J, but the tribe is so overwhelmingly in support of booting her that I'm not gonna stick my neck out to try and save her. At this point I'd say she's pretty much toast but you never know just what's gonna happen. I'm certainly open to other options.

Are you comfortable with the way the boots are going in terms of... do they follow your gameplan? Or are you going to be changing some votes in the near future to suit your needs?

I think the bootlist is either Kim J > Clarence > Sarah > Kim P or Kim J > Sarah > Clarence > Kim P. Either way, that is way too early for me to lose Sarah. I really want her in this game. At this point I'm hoping I can convince them to boot Clarence before Sarah, then at F10 try and pull the wool over Sean's eyes and send him home with two idols. I'm hoping that I can convince Sarah, Kim P, Pat and maybe Lex and Gabe? It's certainly an uphill battle with a big risk factor for me and I'll have to see how these next two tribals go before I even try, but I'd much prefer to try and do something about him than let him just walk to the finals with two idols and win the game.

Have Seans' idols come up in discussion as a potential threat? Kim J is still the obvious target going into tonight's coucnil?
