Episode 12

Second Runner Up

Episode 12

Postby Holly Hoffman » Tue Jul 09, 2013 4:11:42 am

I don't think we could have had a more shocking night. Two blindsides in one night, that's sure to put everyone a little on edge.

Do you think you have a safe run to the finals now we're getting closer to the end?

How confident are you that you can impress the jury and ultimately gain their votes?

This is the last round an idol can be played. Do you think there are any idols out there? Are you worried about them at all?

I love these. In terms of questions, you pretty much cover everything in your videos that I'm curious to know. You say you're worried about an idol, who do you think is the most likely person to have it?

I think that Gina or Lindsey is most likely to have it. Which I'm fine with, so long as it doesn't hurt me.

I'm really beginning to think and re-evaluate whether or not the best choice for me is to side with Linda and Lex or Lindsey and Gina. At this point, I don't really think there's a shot of Sean getting to the finals. It's just a matter of me picking and sticking with them until the end. There can't be anymore of this siding and switching and flipping every round that I've been doing basically since the merge. The more than Lindsey and Gina say that Lex is a social threat, the more I'm thinking about him. Who has he pissed off in the jury? No one. Who has Linda pissed off? Probably quite a few. I know that she pissed off Kim P, right?

I'd potentially get Patricia's vote. I'd like to think that she'd be very understanding of what I did and she'd appreciate it as a game move and not a personal move, so that she'd vote for me. I'd like to think that Vecepia would vote for me too, considering that Lindsey and Gina were on Sarah's side. I voted her out, but I was clearly outward in the fact that I didn't like Sarah. Sarah would guaranteed get Gina's vote. Kim J is a tossup, but potentially Gina or me, since Lindsey was a big advocate in wanting her out on NuMariche. Clarence is a toss up too. If I explained to him what happened in the round that he left he might be inclined to vote for me. Kim P would probably vote for Lindsey.

If I went with Lex and Linda, I have no idea. I think that it would be between Lex and I. Lex would probably win... I think it would be a really close vote. I could explain to Lindsey and Gina what happened. I think that if I make the final 3 at all, my strategy to get votes would be to let people see that I played straight up the middle the whole game and had people trusting me at all times. When people didn't trust me, I.E. Sarah, I got them out. I was with Patricia, yes, but every move that she "orchestrated" I was behind too. I can rightfully take credit for all the decisions she made. I let her do dirty work and I think she knows that. I had to get rid of Patricia because she was too big of a threat to take to the end. I said I wanted to take the best and I honestly think that whoever I'm in the finals with, will be the best.

It's just really difficult because I don't know who to side with. I'm hoping that tonight's tribal council will reveal a lot.

Should I potentially bring up the idea of having me, Linda, and Lindsey in the finals?

I don't know. That actually might not be a bad idea. I just don't think that Linda will vote for Lex.

You talk a lot about personal moves and who is connected with who and who might be pissed at who, etc. Do you think that the outcome of this game will be decided more by personal factors or by strategical factors?

Good point. If it's by personal factors, I don't know if I'd win. I'd like to hope that the jury wouldn't be severely bitter and that I could let people show that I've been one of the most strategic players this game, if not the most strategic. People label Sean as such a threat but I don't think people realize that it actually might be me as the threat...

If people don't realize that you are a threat, do you think they will appreciate your game in the end or will you have to show you are threatening before the finals in order to earn that appreciation?

i.e. Are you planning on keeping your cards close to your chest then pulling off a Scooby-Doo reveal at the final icon_lol

I will have more questions for you later. I just can't watch your vids where I am right now.

I am curious though, in your text responses here you've outlined three potential final threes;
-You / Lex / Linda
-You / Gina / Lindsey
-You / Linda / Lindsey

And also flagged Sean as having "no hope" of getting to the end. So logistically and to keep your options open, does this then make him the target tonight? How cagey are you with your voting intentions - knowing this is the last round to play an idol? Are people willing to do this? And if Sean nabs this next immunity and you have to choose someone else to target immediately.. what do?

I think that I'll be able to earn the appreciation once finals come closer. When the jury starts realizing that I've never really had a target on my back even though I've played both sides and it's even been recognized yet people STILL haven't thought that I needed to leave, on top of being social enough to get information, to vote in the majority at every vote, be brave and smart enough to vote out my closest ally, AND never receive a vote the entire game... then that's sort of messed up. What has Lex done? Stayed nice to people.

What has Lindsey done? Okay, she's more strategic. Gina? Honest and nice. Not strategic. Sean? Illiterate. Linda? Weak.

I really think that I need to be the winner of this game, and I hope that the jury isn't too bitter realizes that. I've put every ounce of myself in this game and if I'm not rewarded for it, I'll be VERY disappointed.

That does make him the target tonight, Brenda. I'm not sure what cagey means, but if it means how solid am I on voting for Sean, very solid. If I'm not, we're voting for Gina. People ARE willing to do this, and if Sean wins immunity and I have to choose someone else to target, I'll vote for Gina. Goodness, I hope that Gina isn't the person that's going to play the idol.
