Thanks! I think we've gotten lucky so far. It's obvious that the other team would have beaten us both times had they not screwed themselves over. It makes me nervous and yet our team seems to be ignoring that fact and celebrating like we're kicking butt. Really, we're getting extremely lucky. Either way, it doesn't matter to me because we're up in numbers in case of a swap or a merge. And as long as we stick together that's what we need.
Right now our tribe seems to be dishonest with each other. I can't tell who lies where in terms of loyalty. New developments today suggested that Tom was actually aligned with the other side and using us for information, but I can't know that for sure. Mama Kim still seems to trust him as she included him in the message with me when she got the clues for the hidden immunity idol. I'm not sure why she did that, but I hope it was a jest of faith towards Tom and not that she's secretly aligned with them as well. I highly doubt that she is, it may have just been a bad move on her part.
Right now Lex is definitely an asset to the team. Our tribe seems to be split 4 and 4 and so Lex is kinda the swing vote. I think we all knew that so it was necessary to grab Lex up immediately. I was completely honest with him about what was going on and he decided to join our alliance. I told him that while both sides were using him, we were likely to actually integrate him into our alliance while the other team would dispose of him when he was no longer necessary. I hope that he trusts us, because he should. Only time will tell what happens. :)
