I really don't know about John being the first voted out. I never talked to the guy so I can't really be upset about it. But I am glad it was one of them and not us :)

Going into the next challenge could be tough for us. It seems like the other team had us beat had it not been for their leader not showing up. I assume that Sarah will do her best now to make sure she's at the next one! If our team is as disjointed for the next one as it was for this one then we're in trouble. Hopefully we learned enough about how to work together so that we don't face those problems in the next challenge.

As far as new Lex is concerned, I think coming into the game so much later than the rest of us will cause him to scramble to find his place. Obviously the phrase is "last in, first out" so our tribe may just assume he's easy fodder if we have to go to Tribal. We haven't really had much time to get to know him so it won't hurt us as bad to vote him out. Most people wouldn't think twice. However, he could become a huge asset to the person who gets to him first. He could be used as a vote-goat and then disposed of later on. And honestly, he'd probably be glad to find any place in the tribe that he could so long as it doesn't get him voted out. I may have to pull some strings here :) Gotta consult Mama Kim though. I consider the two of us a team and don't want to do anything without her consent.

I have no clue what is going on in our tribe right now!! Kim P has contacted me saying that she's feeling used by her alliance with Linda and Frank and that she is looking to align with me! I strongly suspect that she's trying to get info from me so I'm gonna tell her that it's cool if we're aligned, but I'm not gonna let her know that we have pretty much everyone else in the tribe. I'll tell her I've been operating as a lone wolf so that she can't go back and tell Linda and Frank any info just in case. If she stops talking to me then I'll know she was just sniffing around. I guess Tom was right on his instincts about the three of them!

So Mama Kim just told me she thinks of me as the leader of our tribe, even though she's the Cacique. I know that she'll be able to read this after the game is over, so I want to say to her now that I have no intention of overthrowing her or trying to undermine her leadership! I think of her as my closest friend and ally on the tribe so I don't want to make decisions without first consulting her. A pair of two is very strong in this game and if we can stick together and agree on decisions then we should go pretty far!
