Episode 01

Postby Penny Ramsey » Wed Jun 12, 2013 6:40:40 pm

Hello, I'm Penny Ramsey winner of Stranded in Greece!

You'll be seeing a lot of me here, but you'll also see some of the other hosts, Jeff, Brenda, Carl, Mia, Kim, and Holly around as well! My main focus here will be on the Mariche Tribe, so talk to me! Most of us are all-stars of the series who have been through it all, so if you have any questions about how the game is played, feel free to PM us and we'll do our best to answer - that's why we are here. Other than that, our duties will basically be to interview you in your confessional here, trying to get into your head and get some insight as to why you may be making certain moves. We will also be handling challenges, tribal council, and tribal council questioning.

Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. Oftentimes, we'll turn the seasons into fanfics using these stories, and we will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. Just try your best to give us insight into what you're thinking or planning as the game progresses, and right now, as we're about to embark. You'll appreciate being able to go back after the show and really see where your head was at certain points in the game, and so will your fellow cast mates!

So here we go......

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?

What is your strategy and approach to the game?

How do you feel the rep of John fits you? Will you adjust your game to fit the rep, or just play as you would regardless?

What are your thoughts on the upcoming "leader" vote? Is this position something you find yourself interested in, or is leadership not for you? What do you make of who will eventually become leader?

1. I'm pretty confident that I will go far into the merge in the game. However it would be foolish of me to say that I think I can win. Even the best player could find themselves low on numbers at a merge. What I am confident of is that I can get as far as I could possible get, under the scenarios I am dealt.

2. I think that The General and Sarah need to get gone as soon as possible, there to powerful and big already and that makes me nervous. I think I'll be stuck with Sarah for a while though, but I'll see what I can do with the General. Vee and Gabe seem like pretty decent people, and like people I can potentially align with (and then cut loose when I need to). The rest havent really made an impression on me yet so we'll see.

3. My strategy just know is to make it appear like I want Tribe Leader but make sure someone else gets it. That way people know I'm here to play but the burden of leadership ain't on me! Also it might raise my sympathy meter a little bit, which never hurts. In terms of long term approach I really dont know, I'm just gonna roll with the punches and see what happens!

4. John is pretty unmemorable. I wont be. Thats all you need to know.

5. See answer 3 haha

Oh I love this, I was just coming here to ask if you were disappointed to miss out on landing the role icon_laughing

You seem to have a devious side to you icon_wink make sure to keep us updated. Don't feel like you need to wait for questions to prompt you to post in here. It's your space, do with it what you will!

For now though, tell me more about Sarah & the General. What makes you say they are too powerful & big apart from Sarah landing the leader role? (which hadn't happened when you posted that :P ). Do you think you could rally up enough support to "get them gone" like you said?

Right now I'm in the middle of implementing a "core four" alliance with Me, Sarah, Gabe and Pat. My plan was to propose a core four alliance to Sarah, suggest Gabe as a third member and let Sarah pick the fourth. The reason for this is I trust Gabe, I don't know why, I just do. I was hoping that Sarah would propose the General as the fourth member, meaning that I could keep my two biggest perceived threats closest. Alas she did not she proposed Pat and I had to run with it.

Obviously Sarah is in a good position in the game and because of that I find her a threat. As for the General I think he seems kind of forceful with things already which is annoying to me. Also my instincts are telling me that the General and Sarah are closer than anyone else knows so I'm going to need to watch that.

So where do I go from here? Firstly if we are winning tribal immunity I wont need to worry. If not then I'm gonna push to get the General out sooner rather than later, maybe not the first tribal though.

I also think that Vecepia and Hunter could be a possible side alliance for me but I don't want to play that card to soon, so I'm just gonna keep in good contact with them over the next few days and see whats up.

Is four outta nine gonna be enough? Have you any fear the five people not in this will catch wind of it?

Basically I think that making a five person alliance, and with that a true majority alliance leaves to much room for people working with others and also leaves more room for me to be at the bottom of the alliance. With a four person as long as the other five don't form a cohesive unit and as long as no one on my alliance flips for no reasons I think we should be OK.

That being said I will flip on my four if I need to. The fact that Pat is now showing signs of weakness makes me think that if I need to vote her out at the first tribal I will.

Right now I've just firmed up a "you watch my back and I'll watch yours" alliance with the General, although i still don't really trust him (but keep your friends close and all that...)

Gina also opened communications with me recently and I'm gonna jump at the opportunity to not so much align with her but to befriend her (and flirt with her a bit too ;P)

So what's with the Sean vote? No voting comment to keep your motives hidden, or something else? What is your reasoning?
