Episode 01

Hello, I'm Penny Ramsey winner of Stranded in Greece!

You'll be seeing a lot of me here, but you'll also see some of the other hosts, Jeff, Brenda, Carl, Mia, Kim, and Holly around as well! My main focus here will be on the Mariche Tribe, so talk to me! Most of us are all-stars of the series who have been through it all, so if you have any questions about how the game is played, feel free to PM us and we'll do our best to answer - that's why we are here. Other than that, our duties will basically be to interview you in your confessional here, trying to get into your head and get some insight as to why you may be making certain moves. We will also be handling challenges, tribal council, and tribal council questioning.

Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. Oftentimes, we'll turn the seasons into fanfics using these stories, and we will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. Just try your best to give us insight into what you're thinking or planning as the game progresses, and right now, as we're about to embark. You'll appreciate being able to go back after the show and really see where your head was at certain points in the game, and so will your fellow cast mates!

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?

What is your strategy and approach to the game?

How do you feel the rep of Sarah fits you? Will you adjust your game to fit the rep, or just play as you would regardless?

What are your thoughts on the upcoming "leader" vote? Is this position something you find yourself interested in, or is leadership not for you? What do you make of who will eventually become leader?

I'm just going to pop in really quick before I answer the questions with a quick entry.

OH MY GOD VECEPIA... I just can't deal with this girl right now. I sent her a nice, friendly message to reach out to her and maybe get a conversation going and she responds with the dullest response I have ever gotten. Ever. EVER. "I am also excited for the first event." WHAT?!?! That's all you have to say? You can't even feign interest in me or excitement for the game? I certainly didn't feel any excitement from your message. That's so dull and boring.

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?

Probably a bit below average. Of course that's a goal but my main goal is to have fun and play the best game I can possibly play. If winning is along that path, that's fantastic but I'm not sure how easily I can get there.

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?

Most of them seem really nice and outgoing but there's a few dull people thrown in there. It definitely makes me kind of hesitant to keep them in the game if they can't be bothered to be nice to me.

What is your strategy and approach to the game?

I'll try to play a decent social game. I want them to notice me but I don't want to be a social threat and I certainly don't want to talk myself into a hole and bring out "Evil Sarah." That's not how I want to present myself during this game. I want to play a great game.

How do you feel the rep of Sarah fits you? Will you adjust your game to fit the rep, or just play as you would regardless?

I have no idea who Sarah is so... I'm not sure how she fits me, really.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming "leader" vote? Is this position something you find yourself interested in, or is leadership not for you? What do you make of who will eventually become leader?

I'm all for it. General is saying the leader might receive some sort of punishment or some negative twist but I mean twists aren't designed to screw players over so how bad can it really be? I'll put myself out there for it but I mean I don't really expect to win it. It'd be nice, sure.

Sarah! Congratulations on being chosen as your tribes leader! But now that the full role has been revealed to you. Tell me what you make of it so far?

[Sarah]

Alright, day one and I'm the leader of the tribe. By being the leader, I need to complete a task every round which will put me in a predicament at the merge. These tasks are supposedly designed to pit me against my tribe and I won't lie, it's definitely a frightening task. I'm not sure how well I'll be able to keep it a secret and how well I can complete the tasks without making my tribe hate me. I'm not a quitter, I don't want to be the person who quit the second a bump came along the road. I want to be the chameleon, I want to adapt to this little hitch and take it in stride. These tasks won't define my game, I won't let them.

I need to figure out how I'm going to lie about this when they ask. I just wish there was something I could tell them that wouldn't be later contradicted.

Oh my god. I'll try my hardest to keep the bridges burned to an absolute minimum.

So, apart from Vecepia being dull, what kind of first impression are the rest of the cast giving off?

[Sarah]

It's definitely possible these tasks will bring out 'Evil Sarah' because as hard as I try to control the part of me that is outwardly bitchy and manipulative, I tend to fail at it. I don't want to be the villain, I've never wanted to be the bad guy but at the same time I've never considered myself a hero. I don't tend to think of anyone but myself in this. I don't care if they dislike me, I probably dislike them a well, but I really do care about my personal game too much to screw myself over by being the bitch.

I really like my tribe so far. Everyone seems very unified and outgoing in conversations. I feel like we'll be very strong in the challenges if we can keep everyone interested and involved with helping keep that unity. I really like Gabriel, we've already formed a deal to go to the end together. As soon as we started talking, we just clicked together and I feel like I can get to the end with him. He's a great guy but I'm not sure how strategically smart he is. I'm a decently good strategist but I'm very short-sighted. I'm a good observer but having all the pieces of the puzzle means nothing if you can't piece them together. Hopefully the majority alliance Gabriel and I joined with Sean, Vecepia, and General will help out with that. I'm not sure how solid that alliance is but I don't really need to worry about anything besides the numbers going into the merge. I do want to try and keep a solid alliance as long as possible because this twist could definitely put a target on me at the merge.

Oh and hey. I see your PM to Jeff about passwords and I also see he's not answered it :P The story with those is that we do need to know what yours is, so it can be changed to something easier to remember or w/e so long as we are aware of what the new one is. Players who ask this are usually looking to change it to the same one they use for email and other boards so you probably don't want us knowing what that one is.

So yes, we can change it for you, but we will need to know what you want to change it to, which might mean now you don't want to change it. You follow?
