Episode 01

Hello, I'm Penny Ramsey winner of Stranded in Greece!

You'll be seeing a lot of me here, but you'll also see some of the other hosts, Jeff, Brenda, Carl, Mia, Kim, and Holly around as well! My main focus here will be on the Mariche Tribe, so talk to me! Most of us are all-stars of the series who have been through it all, so if you have any questions about how the game is played, feel free to PM us and we'll do our best to answer - that's why we are here. Other than that, our duties will basically be to interview you in your confessional here, trying to get into your head and get some insight as to why you may be making certain moves. We will also be handling challenges, tribal council, and tribal council questioning.

Each round, we'll start by asking some introductory questions, and I just want to ask that you answer in complete statements. Oftentimes, we'll turn the seasons into fanfics using these stories, and we will be actively blogging on each episode, and it's easier to do so if we have real quotes and complete thoughts as opposed to simple yes or no answers. We hope you keep up with your confessionals daily during the week as a way to vent and discuss the events of that day. Just try your best to give us insight into what you're thinking or planning as the game progresses, and right now, as we're about to embark. You'll appreciate being able to go back after the show and really see where your head was at certain points in the game, and so will your fellow cast mates!

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?

What is your strategy and approach to the game?

How do you feel the rep of Gina fits you? Will you adjust your game to fit the rep, or just play as you would regardless?

What are your thoughts on the upcoming "leader" vote? Is this position something you find yourself interested in, or is leadership not for you? What do you make of who will eventually become leader?

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?

What is your strategy and approach to the game?

The way to stay alive in this game, at least initially, is to play for the team. I know we've got a shrewd group on this tribe, so I'm just going to go with whatever the group really wants.

How do you feel the rep of Gina fits you? Will you adjust your game to fit the rep, or just play as you would regardless?

I'm playing as me. Who your avatar is is going to color perception of your gameplay, at least for the first round or two while everyone gets to know each other. I'm actually thrilled I got Gina. No one will suspect a thing out of me.


What are your thoughts on the upcoming "leader" vote? Is this position something you find yourself interested in, or is leadership not for you? What do you make of who will eventually become leader?

I had absolutely no interest in being the leader. Sure, they get immunity for the first half of the game. I totally expect the first two vote-offs after the merge to be the two leaders. It's more of a curse than a blessing. Even if they get to the end, how could they argue they should win? They didn't even have to try for half of the game. I'm sure Sarah will do a great job as leader, but I don't see it working out well long term. Nothing against her, just my own perception.

Whoops. Missed a few.....

How confident are you going into this game that you will win?

I hate being wrong. So given that I only have a 1/16 shot of winning, I'll say "not overly confident". I'm gonna look like a fool if I win...

What are your opinions of your fellow tribemates?

Patricia's the only one that's really opened up to me. I have no choice at this point but to trust her. I mean, I'll still vote her out if I have to. But I'll feel a little bad.

I'm also wary about the three that volunteered to be leaders. Who was it, Sarah, John and Peter? Those are all people to watch out for. Obviously Sarah is immune until the merge, but I'll be keeping my eye on John and Peter.

[Brenda Lowe]

Don't feel like you need to wait for questions here btw, keep us updated on anything that springs up, whether it's an actual in-game event or just something you're maybe thinking over.

Tell me more about this "going with the Group" strategy. Who do you see as "the Group" here, and who would you put in an outsider category?

[Gina]

I would characterize 'the group' as everyone, really. As soon as Sarah volunteered to be leader, just about everyone was on board. And why? Because she was the first one to volunteer? There wasn't any dialogue about what the potential leaders could bring to the table, everyone just went with the flow. And since I was the last one here and everyone had already basically agreed on Sarah, I'm not gonna jump in and rock the boat. Hopefully we accidentally made the right choice.

I haven't noticed any real 'outsiders' per se. I think we're all one big happy family and the first vote or two will be a unified vote. I'm just hoping it isn't against me. I'm guessing whichever name is thrown out there first as the most expendable is the way this tribe will go. Look at how we elected a leader. They're easily persuaded.

Do you think everyone is just winging it and hoping it isn't them targeted or do you think alliances have formed this early into the game?

[Gina]

I was just informed by Patricia that John, Gabe and Sarah approached her about forming an alliance. Now I'm stuck trying to work my way into that group.

Obviously the other four need a fifth- and I want it to be me. I'm worried about forming a counter alliance because if I try to, and just one of those individuals is 'chosen' by that main group of four, then they're gonna vote me out for trying to scheme.

I've got to assume everyone is thinking logically, and the logical thought is- I should join this group of four, rather than try and bring together five stragglers. It's the safer bet. Now I've got to schmooze these fools and ensure that the fifth person is me.

Hmm, interesting. How do you feel that you have to work to get in on that, and that you weren't one of the initial members? What kind of general impression do you think the others have of you at this point - you've mentioned only Patricia had "opened up to you" - is that a you thing, or a them thing?

Do you think that those 4 are the only alliance on the tribe?

It would be naive of me to assume that there is only one or two alliances on the tribe, no? I have to be aware of the probability that everyone is working with everyone else, but I can't go through the game minute by minute trying to figure it out, or else I'll go insane.

Speaking of which- I kinda went paranoia-crazy yesteday. I'm going to stop over-thinking everything. We haven't even had our first challenge yet. I may not know who is on the bottom, but I'm fairly certain it isn't me. And at this point that's all that matters to me.
